  Heizplatte für   Präge-und Vulkanisierpressen   
Zur Herstellung von Matrizen und elastischer Druckformen (Gummiklischees) werden heizbare Prägepressen verwendet, deren Heizplatten vollkommen eben sein müssen. Zum Erhitzen dieser   Platten bedientman sich eines Wärmeübertragungs-   mittels, das in Hohlräumen der Heizplatte untergebracht ist, in welchen auch die elektrischen Heizkörper eingebaut sind. 



   Solche Heizplatten, die als selbständige Maschinenbauteile anzusprechen sind, werden entweder mit der Presse fest verschraubt oder in der Presse frei aufgelegt. Die freie Auflage ist aber für die hängende Anordnung, also wenn eine Heizplatte im Pressenkopf vorgesehen ist, nicht durchführbar. Überdies hat die freie Auflage an sich den Nachteil, dass sie einer Sicherung gegen Verschiebung der Heizplatte ermangelt und dadurch keine Gewähr für eine einwandfreie Prägung gegeben ist. Daher wurden bisher derartige Heizplatten mit den betreffenden Pressenteilen in der Regel an mehreren Randstellen, zumindest mit vier Schrauben, fest verbunden. 



  Durch diese feste Verschraubung wird jedoch die Heizplatte vor allem in ihrem natürlichen linearen Wärmedehnungsverlauf gehindert und es zeigt sich, dass sich solcher Art befestigte Heizplatten verhältnismässig stark durchbiegen und verziehen. Bei kleineren Heizplatten wurden z. B. Durchbiegungen von 0-2 bis 0'3 mm beobachtet. Das sind Werte, die für den eingangs erwähnten Zweck unzulässig sind, weil dadurch die Herstellung vollkommen ebener Druckformen gleichmässiger Stärke unmöglich ist. 



   Erfindungsgemäss werden die Nachteile der bisher üblichen Anordnung von Heizplatten in Prägepressen dadurch beseitigt, dass die Heizplatte nur an einer einzigen Stelle mit der Presse fest verbunden ist. Dies kann z. B. durch eine Schraube oder auch durch mehrere Schrauben erfolgen, nur müssen im zweiten Falle die Schrauben in einer eng begrenzten Zone angeordnet werden, so dass sie die lineare Ausdehnung der Platte nicht behindern. 



   Die praktische Erprobung dieser Befestigungsart bei der Anwendung auf Heizplatten hat ergeben, dass diese bei allen Temperaturänderungen ihre ursprüngliche Form beibehalten und damit eine einwandfreie Prägung ermöglichen.

To produce matrices and elastic printing forms (rubber clichés), heatable embossing presses are used, the heating plates of which must be completely flat. To heat these plates, use is made of a heat transfer medium which is accommodated in cavities in the heating plate in which the electrical heating elements are also installed.



   Such heating plates, which are to be addressed as independent machine components, are either firmly screwed to the press or freely placed in the press. However, the free support cannot be carried out for the hanging arrangement, that is to say when a heating plate is provided in the press head. In addition, the free edition itself has the disadvantage that it lacks a safeguard against displacement of the heating plate and therefore no guarantee is given for perfect embossing. For this reason, heating plates of this type have hitherto generally been firmly connected to the relevant press parts at several edge points, at least with four screws.



  Due to this fixed screw connection, however, the heating plate is primarily hindered in its natural linear thermal expansion curve and it is evident that heating plates fastened in this way bend and warp to a relatively large extent. For smaller heating plates z. B. Deflections from 0-2 to 0.3 mm are observed. These are values that are inadmissible for the purpose mentioned above, because they make it impossible to produce completely flat printing forms of uniform thickness.



   According to the invention, the disadvantages of the hitherto customary arrangement of heating plates in embossing presses are eliminated in that the heating plate is only firmly connected to the press at a single point. This can e.g. B. be done by a screw or by several screws, only in the second case the screws must be arranged in a narrowly delimited zone so that they do not hinder the linear expansion of the plate.



   Practical testing of this type of fastening when used on heating plates has shown that these retain their original shape regardless of temperature changes and thus enable perfect embossing.
