Herd für Koch-, Wasch-, Dämpf- u. dgl. Kessel

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Fig. 1 und 2 erläutert, ausgebildet.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Stove for cooking, washing, steaming u. like boiler
The invention relates to a stove for cooking, washing, steaming u. Like. Boiler in which the jacket is made of non-metallic building material, such as concrete or the like, and is reinforced by reinforcement. Such stoves are known both in designs in which the stove casing is formed in one piece and in designs in which the stove consists of a lower part having the heater and a casing ring attached to it and extending the stove casing upwards. In all of these stoves, the reinforcement of the stove shell or the stove shell parts is of particular importance.

In general, the jacket reinforcement of the herd known hitherto consists of end rings and separately from these, embedded in the jacket material
Reinforcement elements such as rods, wire rings,
Braids od. The like. It is also known that these are arranged separately from the end rings
To combine reinforcement elements into a reinforcement cage. So there is no direct connection between the reinforcement in the previously known designs
Front rings and the embedded reinforcement elements, e.g. B. the reinforcement basket, what the
The disadvantage is that the jacket material, especially in those between these groups of
Zones located in the reinforcement elements, easily jumps and tears.

In addition, when pouring or tamping the concrete mass, mutual
Changes in position occur between said groups of reinforcing elements; The consequence of this is that the embedded reinforcement comes to lie eccentrically in the shell cross-section, which also promotes the formation of cracks and cracks in the hearth shell.

The present invention aims to eliminate the disadvantages indicated. According to the invention, this is achieved by reinforcing the shell, which consists of a hollow body open at both ends with full edge parts forming the front edge protection for the stove shell and an open central part drawn in opposite these edge parts and completely surrounded by the material of the stove shell. The reinforcement hollow body can be made in one piece, for. B. made of pressed or stamped sheet metal; but it can also be selected from several in a suitable manner, e.g. B. be assembled by welding, united elements.

A hollow reinforcement body, which is particularly advantageous in the last-mentioned version because of its strength and simple production, consists of iron bands and a central part which has ends bent outwards and connected to the rings through these ends, e.g. B. is welded. This middle part can be made of connecting rods with angled to the band iron rings connected, z. B. welded, ends and from a running along these connecting rods Rabitz braid, z. B. wire mesh exist. To increase the bonding effect between the reinforcement and the jacket material and for better pressure distribution, the hollow reinforcement body is provided with locally inwardly protruding projections at selected points, expediently at its edges; these projections can, for.

B consist of tongues which are alternately flat and edgewise and which are welded, soldered, riveted or the like to the inner surface of the edges of the hollow reinforcement body or the iron bands.

The reinforcement according to the invention is suitable both for reinforcing self-contained
Jacket rings as well as stove bases that are equipped with heating. In the latter
In the case, the hollow reinforcement body has an interruption which advantageously extends over the entire height of the central part, the opposite edges of which are connected to one another by bridging pieces for fastening the heating face. Accordingly, in this case too, the entire reinforcement consists of a single body which, despite the interruption of its central part, has great strength and dimensional stability after the interruption is bridged by the bridge pieces and these thus bring about a self-contained connection in the circumferential direction of the hollow reinforcement body.

With the reinforcement according to the invention, the edges of the hollow reinforcement body form a secure one
Centering the reinforcement when pouring or
Pounding the concrete mass. Accordingly, the central part of the hollow reinforcement body can also be relatively close to the outer peripheral surface of the
Stove mantle can be laid without fear

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

to have that this middle part comes to lie closer to the surrounding area of the stove jacket or even in the surrounding area itself.

It is therefore also easily possible to give the hearth jacket a profiled peripheral surface in such a way that the jacket forms ring-shaped roller strips in the area of the band ciscnstim rings, which run flush with the band iron end rings, while the peripheral part lying between them is recessed and thus when rolling upright Storing the stove shell out of contact with the floor and cannot be damaged.

It is known in washing kettle stoves made of cement, concrete and similar building material, the ring-shaped body of which is divided into individual sectors. to form the elements dividing the sectors on the impact parts into supports made of T-irons, the ends of which are connected to the face iron rings and the webs of which extend radially inward, with holes or openings in these webs for inserting ring or screw-shaped wires are used.

Line wires are then connected to these wires. The actual reinforcement of the sector-shaped wall parts is only provided here by the ring-shaped or helical ones
Wires and possibly formed by the longitudinal wires, while the T-shaped supports only cause a subdivision of the jacket and as
Carriers serve for the actual reinforcement.

Furnaces with a sector-like subdivided shell wall have not proven themselves in practice, since the division of the shell wall considerably reduces the strength of the latter and the formation of cracks, cracks and the like. Like. Is very favored. These disadvantages occur to an increased extent in the known furnace with T-shaped connecting supports; because here the iron reinforcement framework has a multitude of re-entrant corners and edges, which can only be filled with difficulty by the concrete material, so that cavities arise in these corners, which further reduce the strength of the stove jacket and encourage cracking.

In order to avoid this, one is forced to make the wall thickness of the stove jacket excessively strong; However, this requires considerable material expenditure, great weight, makes it difficult to transport and set up such ovens and also reduces the efficiency of the heating considerably, so that these ovens are uneconomical in terms of heating technology. All these disadvantages are avoided in the cooker according to the invention. According to the reinforcement according to the invention, this is characterized by light weight, easy transport, low material costs, simple and inexpensive production, surprisingly good efficiency and practically unlimited durability.

In the drawing, embodiments of herds according to the invention are illustrated.

FIG. I shows an embodiment of the stove in longitudinal section with a jacket made up of two parts that can be plugged into one another and made of reinforced concrete. 2 is a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of the cooker according to the invention with a lower part made of reinforced concrete and an attachable upper part made of sheet metal, FIG. 4 shows the reinforcement for the upper part of the jacket according to FIGS. 1 and 2 in longitudinal section, FIG. 5 shows the front half of this reinforcement in plan view. In FIG. 6, the reinforcement for the lower jacket part is shown in a front view and partially in section. Fig. 7 shows the front half of this reinforcement in view.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2, the shell of the lower part made of reinforced concrete is designated in a and the heater arranged in this shell is designated by b. c is the jacket ring which can be slipped onto the lower jacket part a and which is also made of inert concrete or the like. The boiler e is suspended in this upper part of the shell. The heater b is equipped with a heating trough 2 having the grate 1 and the ash chamber 3. The heating trough
2 is accessible from the outside through an opening 4 in the jacket a; likewise also the ash chamber 3, the opening of which in FIG. 2 is below the opening 4. On the outside of the shell part a im
The heating breast 5 is attached to the doors 6 in areas of these openings.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the lower part a, b is in the same way as to the
Fig. 1 and 2 explained, formed. The one on the
Coat a of the lower part attachable upper part consists in this exemplary embodiment from one
Sheet metal jacket 7, in which by means of pin 8 of
Steam kettle is hinged so that it can be swiveled.

Essential for the invention is the formation of the reinforcement for the concrete or the like existing shell a and the shell ring c, if one is present. According to the invention, this reinforcement consists of iron bands
10, 11, which are connected to one another at several points by connecting rods 12. These connecting rods have angled ends 13, 14 by means of which these rods are connected to the inside of the rings in a suitable manner z. B. welded, soldered or the like. Are. To the connecting rods is a Rabitz braid 15, for. B. from wire mesh, placed and in several places, z. B. by means of a binding wire attached.

On the inside of the rings, locally inwardly projecting projections 17, 18 are also provided; In the present exemplary embodiment, the same consist of sheet-metal tongues, of which those marked 17 are set on edge, while the tongues marked 18 lie flat.

The construction of the reinforcement described above is the same for the lower jacket a as well as for the upper jacket c and are in the
4 to 7 denote the same components with the same reference numerals. The only difference is the formation of the Rabitz braid, that of the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

upper jacket c forms a schte that ring (Fig. 4 and 5), while the lower jacket a is interrupted between two connecting rods 12 in order to create access to the heater. In the interruption 20 bridge pieces 22, 21 are arranged, which are used to attach the heating breast and accordingly with suitable fastening means, eg. B. are equipped with screw holes 23,24.

The bridge pieces 21, 22 are connected to the connecting rods running on both sides of the interruption, e.g. B. welded, and thus represent connecting links through which the central part of the reinforcement is ringgeschlewen despite the interruption in the Rabitz braid.

The reinforcement described is in the non-metallic building material of the shell a or c, z. B.

Concrete, terrazzo or the like, embedded, etc. between. As illustrated on the right in FIGS. 4 and 6
Sections show such that the rings run along the outer edges of the jacket, during that of the connecting rods and the
The central part of the reinforcement formed by Rabitz braid lies entirely within the jacket material.
If necessary, the outer surface of the shell a or c can be drawn in between the end rings to form rolling rings 26, 27, which prevent the intermediate outer shell surface from coming into contact with the ground and being damaged when the shell is stored or rolled on edge.

The reinforcement described above is of course only an example and can be designed in the most varied of ways; It is only essential that the reinforcement forms a hollow body which is open at both ends and which is equipped with full edge parts giving off the front edge protection and a perforated middle part which is drawn in opposite the edge parts and is completely surrounded by the material of the stove shell. This hollow body can, as described, be composed of several elements connected to one another in a suitable manner; but it can also be made in one piece, e.g. B. consist of a pressed sheet metal jacket punched out in the middle part.

By designing the reinforcement into a statically one-piece hollow body, each one becomes asymmetrical
Extension of the reinforcement when pouring or
Avoid tamping the jacket material and thus create the possibility of being able to move the reinforcement as close as possible to the jacket surface, where, as is known, the thermal expansion and the risk of cracking are greatest.
In addition, the reinforcement, which is designed as a single hollow body, ensures simple and inexpensive manufacture of the jacket, since this reinforcement as a whole is inserted into the casting or. Stamped form can be inserted.

Ultimately, the lines of the reinforcement elements are simple, so that these elements are not only easily made from viable material, but can also easily be combined to form a hollow body that is as free of corners as possible, which ensures safe and complete embedding in the concrete material due to the lack of re-entrant corners or edges.
