Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Rostschutzmittel und ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung.
Das Rostschutzmittel besteht aus einem Gemisch von Paragummi, Schellack, venezianischem Terpentin, Bienenwachs, Hammel-oder Schweinefett und Vaseline
Zur Herstellung desselben werden zweckmässig
3 Gewichtsteile von in Benzin gelöstem Paragummi, 2 n von in Alkohol gelöstem Schellack rubin, 5 n venez. Terpentin, 5,., gelbes Bienenwachs, 10 " Hammel- oder Schweinefett und 75.. Vaseline miteinander vermischt und die Mischung zwei Stunden lang der Einwirkung einer Temperatur von 1000 C ausgesetzt, wodurch alle flüchtigen Bestandteile, wie Alkohol und Benzin, verflüchtigen und eine gebrauchsfertige Schmiere zurückbleibt : mit derselben wird der vor Rost zu schützende Gegenstand dünn überstrichen oder überbürstet.
