Austrian PATENT LETTERING? 20181st ERICH GIERSBERG IN BERLIN.
Hose coupling with claw lock.
The hose couplings, which are used to quickly connect two hoses to one another and which can be released quickly, are particularly worn on the coupling parts. Until now, the hoses had to be tied off the hose sleeves in order to replace the worn parts with new ones. This was also necessary when a hose coupling was to be exchanged for another type.
Furthermore, the coupling parts should be able to rotate with respect to the hose, since when the hose is rotated, a self-release can easily take place, especially when the coupling parts are firmly connected to the hose. Are rotatable fastened connections? was known, but so far it has not been possible to change the coupling parts without tying off the hose from the sleeve.
These evils are to be eliminated in the hose connection shown in FIGS. 1-4 of the drawing by arranging the associated claw lock C consisting of two detachably connected parts on each hose sleeve A, namely over a collar B of the same. This should be done in the way
EMI1.1
of the coupled parts to replace the claw lock without removing the hose from the
Having to tie off the sleeve.
In order to also secure the position of the sealing ring F in the claw lock C, the sleeve A is provided in a known manner with a protruding edge G which partially overlaps the sealing ring F. For this purpose, the sealing ring can also be designed at its end directed towards the axis A so that the edge G engages into the ring F from this side.
