Streckwalze.
Die gebräuchlichen Streckwalzen der Streck-, V orspinn- und Feinspinnmaschinen haben eine über eine Filzlage gespannte. Leerhülse. Diese Leerhülsen erfordern zu ihrer Anfertigung einen geübten Arbeiter, sind teuer und mit mannigfachen Mängeln behaftet. Nach vorliegender Erfindung kommt diese Leerhülse in Wegfall, wodurch die angeführten Übelstände beseitigt werden. Die Lederhülse ist ersetzt durch eine über die Filzlage angeordnete Garnwicklung, die mit einer lackartigen, elastischen Masse überzogen ist.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindung- gegenstandes teilweise in Ansicht und teilweise im Schnitt. a ist der Metallkern und b die Filzlage, 11m welche die Garnwicklung c angeordnet ist. Diese Garnwicklung ist mit einer lackartigen, elastischen Masse d durchtränkt und überzogen. Die in die elastische Masse eingebettete Garnwicklung verbindet sich mit der Filzmasse zu einem einheitlichen Ganzen.
Die dadurch um den Metallkern gebildete Hülle nimmt den durch die zu streckenden Fäden ausgeübten ganzen Druck auf ; wird diese Hülle an der Oberfläche abgenutzt, so kann durch Neuauftragen von lackartiger Masse d (Nachlackieren) die Streckwalze auf billige Art stets wieder gebrauchsbereit gemacht werden. Die Garnwicklung in der Masse schützt dieselbe vor zu starkem Einpressen des kannelierte Metallzylinders, indem sie der Masse einen grossen Widerstand verleiht ; trotzdem ist die Elastizität der Walze verhältnismässig gross, so dass das Gespinst, sehr fest gepackt wird. Durch vorbeschriebene Streckwalze soll auch eine grosse Adhäsion derselben zum Metallzylinder erreicht werden, die die Gleichmässigkeit des Erzeugnisses günstig beeinflusst.
