Description

  Verfahren zur Troclcen8chmlerung für Relbung8kupplubgen.
 EMI1.1

Process for dry cleaning for release couplings.
 EMI1.1

If two dry metal surfaces slide on one another, they will wear out considerably; if this is to be avoided, a lubricant must be used. The latter, however, burns when heated and leaves behind harmful residues. Since the coefficient of friction is reduced by a lubricant, the use of the latter requires an increase in the Kspps! n required force or the friction surfaces, in the latter case the weight of the clutch increases and the same is used for some purposes, such as. B. for automobile cars, is made unsuitable.

The present invention permits the use of a dry, yet self-lubricating coupling and consists in that beads or lumps, e.g. B. made of graphite or graphite charcoal, has been applied to one or both metallic coupling surfaces, expediently in depressions which are provided at individual points thereof.

For a better understanding, the essence of the invention is shown in the drawing. As can be seen, the friction surface a of one or both coupling halves is provided with recesses in which lumps b made of graphite carbon or the like are accommodated. If the coupling halves now come into contact, both metallic surfaces c and lubricated surfaces d will be present on the parts of the coupling halves that are in contact.
