Gewebe.
Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein Gewebe, bei welchem als Schuss ein Gewirko verwendet ist.
Der Vorgang zur Herstellung des gewirkten Schusses ist folgender : Es wird auf einer Strickmaschine eine Vorarbeit erzeugt, und zwar derart, dass immer eine Anzahl von Nadeln Maschen bilden und einige dazwischenliegende Nadeln ausser Tätigkeit (abgedeckt) sind. Die so fertig gestrickte Vorarbeit wird nun längs den abgedeckten Stellen in einzelne Streifen zerschnitten. Jeder einzelne derartige Streifen hat das Bestreben, sielt einzuringeln, so dass eine kleine Nachhilfe genügt, um eine gerundete Schnur daraus zu erhalten.
Die so erhaltenen Vorarbeitstreifen werden nun zur Herstellung von Geweben als Schuss verwendet, wobei als Kette die verschiedensten bisher gebräuchlichen Materialien verwendet werden können.
Die Vorware kann mit verschiedenfärbigen Fäden gearbeitet werden, wodurch man im Gewebe die verschiedensten Musterungen erzielt.

The subject of the present invention is a fabric in which a knitted fabric is used as the weft.
The process for producing the knitted weft is as follows: A preliminary work is produced on a knitting machine in such a way that a number of needles always form stitches and some needles in between are inactive (covered). The preliminary work knitted in this way is now cut into individual strips along the covered areas. Every single strip of this kind has the tendency to ring it in, so that a little tutoring is enough to get a rounded cord out of it.
The preliminary work strips obtained in this way are now used as a weft for the production of woven fabrics, whereby the most varied of hitherto customary materials can be used as warp.
The pre-fabric can be worked with different colored threads, whereby the most different patterns can be achieved in the fabric.
