Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Herche'machine mit zwei oder mehreren Hechelfeldern.

    Herche'machine with two or more hackle fields.

   There are already known hackling machines in which the whiskers are treated with gradations, i.e. H. where first the outer ends of the tuft and then gradually the entire length of the fibers are hackled.

   Either the carriages carrying the clips are guided in a sloping path or the hackle jackets are inclined to the direction of the operation. In these known, structurally complex devices, however, the disadvantage is usually that the individual hackle needle strokes through the fiber material at an angle to the fiber direction, which cannot be described as proper hackling and naturally creates a lot of waste.

   In order to avoid this cbelstand, i.e. the relative inclined movement between hackle needle and fiber, according to the present invention, in hackle machines with two or more hackle fields equipped with work surfaces inclined to one another in a known manner, the gradual treatment of the fiber material with suspension of the corresponding lIechel jackets parallel to the clip suspension is carried out by a in each subsequent Hechelfelde increasing sewing between the fiber material and the Hechel coats achieved. This is z. B. achieved by the fact that the upper drive shafts of the Hechclmäntel led down by common drum shafts of the individual departments in their height in the course of the work step get off level.

   The needles of the different hackle fields always run parallel through the fibers, so they cross the beards with the greatest possible care for the fiber material, the finish will therefore be as small as possible and still a complete hacking and cutting is caused.

   In the drawing, FIG. 1 shows, for example, two adjacent hackle fields in
 EMI1.1
 hechelfelder the usual. The hackle coats a with the lace rows b run above the triel) waves c (Fig. 2) and C (Fig. 3). At the bottom, the metal jackets run over drums or disks d, which are all arranged conaxially. As can now be seen from a comparison of FIGS. 2 and 3, the fiber material in FIG. 2 is treated over a shorter distance than in FIG. 3, namely because the Hechelfel fields with their drive shafts are located deeper than the Hechelfel fields with their drive shafts C. Depending on whether one now has only two hackle fields or more, one can achieve a smaller or greater degree of gradation.
