Knitted fabrics made from paper yarn.
In the knitting and weaving industry there are already products made from paper yarn. However, a product made from pure paper yarn is not very durable, which is why attempts have already been made to increase the strength by using textile threads.
The subject of the present invention is such a product consisting of paper yarn and textile threads, which differs from the known product in its composition in that it is made up of two threads of a paper thread and a textile thread running loosely next to the paper thread.
The structure achieved in this way is significantly stronger than with other combinations, because the loosely running textile thread forms a fabric of its own, and so to a certain extent two fabric structures are created, which alternate with each other and one of which gives the other body and filling, while conversely the former is bound by the latter and perfected in elasticity and extensibility.
Any kind of textile fiber can be used as it suits the purpose, especially nettle fiber is also considered.
With regard to an exemplary embodiment, it is noted that both the machine device and the mode of operation are known and therefore do not first need to be described. Paper yarn and textile thread are on separate bobbins and only run together in the thread guide, which z. B. found in knitting machines arranged on the carriage.
