Zu gleicher Zeit findet, da das den Nebenmosser passierende Wasser nicht mehr auf das Ventil   B   wirken kann, hier ein Druckausgleich statt und sinkt dasselbe, den Hauptmesser   abschliessend,   in seine Ruhestellung. 



   Zur Regelung dos Wasserquantums, bei welchem die Umschaltung von dem kleinen auf den   grossen   Messer und umgekehrt erfolgen soll, dient die Drosselscheibe p mit den   Löchern   l. Entsprechend der Drosselung der korrespondierenden Löcher 1, welche sich in der Drosselscheibe und im oberen Flansche des Kolbens   k   befindet, tritt der Überdruck unter dem Kolben k bei einem grösseren oder geringeren Wasserquantum ein und hiedurch auch die Umschaltung von dem kleinen auf den grossen Messer und   umgekehrt.
