Circuit for telephone exchanges with separate plug operation.
The present invention relates to a circuit for telephone exchanges with separate plug operation, for the purpose of reducing the power consumption for the busy signal signals to the lowest possible level. In the arrangements known up to now, the busy signals are traversed by current during the entire period of time that an officer is busy. Since the total time during which the busy signals are energized in this case is up to 90% of the total working time at all, the workload for the busy signals is quite considerable. In order to avoid this, according to the present invention, the busy signals no longer report when the current is flowing through them, but when they are busy when the current is not flowing, but are free when the current is flowing through them.
An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. Officials A and B of the distribution office stand through with officer C of the liaison office
EMI1.1
Official A removes the plug 8 from the rest position, in which he keeps the contact 9 open, then this contact 9 of the plug switch closes and current flows from the battery 10 via line 11 and contact 9, control lamp 12, line 6, contact 13 of the Plug 14, call signal lamp 15 and via the winding of the relay 16 back to the battery. The relay 16 pulls in its armature and thus opens the normally closed contact 17. As a result, the busy signals 18 and 19 which have been energized up to this moment are de-energized and thus give the signal "busy".

are given. The signaling must always be set up in such a way that a current-carrying signal means "free" and a current-free signal means "busy". When lamp 15 lights up, the liaison office is notified. en é indicates that the desired connection is to be established with the plug 14 belonging to the line 1, 2, while the plug belonging to the line J, 7 is to be handled when the lamp 30 is glowing. The lighting up of the control lamp 12 shows the distributor A that the contact 13 is closed and therefore the connection officer has been given the signal to establish the connection by lighting up the lamp 15.
EMI1.3
the official 4 becomes recognizable.
The circuit shown in the figure shows. that the circuit of the lamps 18, 19 is open. when the circuit of relay / 6 is closed and vice versa. So the relay will now
EMI1.4
To be able to open and close in time with the signal circuit, only the normally closed contact 17 of the relay 16 needs to be replaced by the normally open contact 20 indicated by dotted lines and the plug contacts 9 and 21 by those with a contact closed in the rest position. In the rest position of the plug 8, current then flows back to the battery via the then closed contact 9, control lamp 12, plug contact 13, lamp 15 and via the winding of the relay 16.
EMI1.5
Normally open contact 20 with current, so that they show "free".
If, on the other hand, the plug contact 9 is opened by removing the plug 8, both the relay 16 and the busy signals are de-energized at the same time.
As with the plug contacts 9 and 21, the automatic activation and deactivation of the busy signals can of course also be effected by corresponding idle or working contacts on the speech switch, on the call button, listening button, microphone plug switch of the officer or in any other suitable manner.
