    Lenkvorrichtung   für die das Gyroskop enthaltende Schwimmkammer von Torpedos. 



   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Lenzen der Schwimmkammer von Torpedos, bei denen das mit Zubehör in der Schwimmkammer untergebrachte   Qyrogkop,   oder die Steuermaschine mittels Druckluft angetrieben wird. Das Lenzen der Schwimmkörper ist erforderlich, da sich hier im Laufe der Zeit durch nicht zu vermeidende Undichtheiten Wasser anzusammeln pflegt, das die freie Bewegung des Gyroskops hindern und das Gewicht des Torpedos vergrössern würde. 



   Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass von dem in der Schwimmkammer angeordneten, Versenkventil ein Rohr zur tiefsten Stelle der Kammer geführt wird. Da beim Abfeuern des Torpedos der Gyroskopmotor angelassen bezw. die Steuermaschine in   Tätigkeit   gesetzt wird, so wird das Wasser von der aus dem Gyroskopmotor bezw. aus der Steuermaschine austretenden Druckluft durch das Rohr und das Versenkventil   hinausgedrückt.   



   Auf der Zeichnung ist das Hinterende eines mit der Lenzvorrichtung versehenen Torpedos teilweise im Schnitt dargestellt. 



   Bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform steht das Gehäuse c des   Versenkventils h

 in Verbindung. In die Kammer e mündet die hohle   Propellerwellef,   durch welche die von der Maschine kommende Luft in das   Aussenwasser   gelangt. Das Gehäuse c setzt sich nach unten in einem kurzen Rohre g fort, das bis dicht an den Boden der Schwimmkammer b reicht. Das   Versenkventi1   h wird durch eine Feder auf seinen Sitz gepresst. 



   Die Vorrichtung wirkt in der nachstehend beschriebenen Weise. 



   Die aus dem Motor des Gyroskops a oder der Steuermaschine austretende Druckluft tritt in die Schwimmkammer b ein. Überwiegt der Druck der Luft in der Schwimmkammer b den in der Auspuffkammer e herrschenden Luftdruck, so wird das Versenkventil h angehoben, und das Lenzwasser durch   Rohr, Ventile h   und Rohr d in die Auspuffkammer e und von da durch die hohle Welle f in das Aussenwasser gedrückt. Ist das Lenzwasser ausgetrieben, so verhindert die durch die hohle Welle f austretende Motordruckluft das Aussenwasser in den Torpedo einzutreten. 



   Bei Stillstand der Maschine sinkt der Druck sowohl in der hinteren Schwimmkammer b als auch in der Auspuffkammer e,   sodass das Versenkventil h   sich schliessen kann.

   The invention relates to a device for draining the swimming chamber of torpedoes, in which the Qyrogkop housed with accessories in the swimming chamber, or the control machine is driven by means of compressed air. The pumping of the floats is necessary because water tends to accumulate here over time due to unavoidable leaks, which would prevent the free movement of the gyroscope and increase the weight of the torpedo.



   The invention consists in that a pipe is led from the lowering valve arranged in the swimming chamber to the deepest point of the chamber.
