   Das vorliegende Verfahren hat dem Verfahren nach dem D. R. P. Nr. 86419 gegen- über den Vorteil, dass die Ätzalkalien nicht zu mahlen und zu mischen sind, eine Arbeit, die, wie jeder Techniker weiss, höchst unangenehm ist, und bei welcher das Ätznatron namentlich bei feuchtem   Wetter leicht Kohlensäure   und Wasser anzieht, so dass dabei Verluste entstehen bezw. das Ätznatron infolge des hohen Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes zur Darstellung von Formiat ungeeignet wird. Da dem Ätzalkali Verteilungskörper nicht zugemischt werden, ist das nach vorliegendem Verfahren hergestellte Formiat sofort handelsfertig und verwondungsfähig.

Since distribution bodies are not mixed with the caustic alkali, the formate produced according to the present process is immediately ready for sale and can be used.
