Wrench.
The present invention relates to a wrench which is shown in two views in the drawing in FIGS. 1 and 2; Figure 3 shows another embodiment.
The key consists of two equal arms A, B; A wedge C is fastened in the arm B, the longitudinal axis of which deviates by a few degrees from the normal direction to the longitudinal axis of the arm B; the second arm A has a square hole through which the wedge C passes loosely. The stronger, shorter parts of the arms act as jaws to grip the nuts, while the other parts act as handles.
If the screw nut is to be grasped, move part A along the wedge until the jaws rest against the nut on both sides (Fig. 1). If the two longer arms A and B are now pressed against each other, as indicated by the arrows in FIG. 1, the edges 1 and 2 in the hole in arm A are supported against each other
EMI1.1
According to the second embodiment (figure), the arm 4 has no hole, but a bracket A 'is riveted to it, through which the wedge C protrudes. This arrangement has the advantage that this bracket A 'can easily be replaced. when it's worn out.
