Abstract
The invention relates to a comminution device for material that can be comminuted by the action of a knife, in particular wood chips, plastic and cellulose-containing material, in which a rotor (1) provided with comminution tools, in particular knives, is arranged.
Description

The present invention relates to a comminution device, also called a "shredder", for material to be comminuted by the action of a knife, in particular for wood chips, plastic and cellulose-containing material, in which a rotor provided with comminution tools, in particular knives, is arranged in a housing isdt.
Such crushing devices, which are particularly suitable for crushing and optionally recycling waste, in particular wood waste, pieces of residual wood, synthetic materials and cellulose-containing material, textiles, carpets and also rubber tires, are known per se.
The present invention is based on the object of reducing the known size reduction devices in this way

position and that the cutting knives are always in contact with the material.
This object is achieved according to the invention in the case of a crushing device in that the device of the type mentioned at the beginning / an arc-shaped pressing wall is arranged with a crescent-shaped pressing device which pushes the material to be crushed to the rotor or to the counter-eater.
According to the invention, the rapid progress of own about 20% increase in performance compared to the horizontal pressers of the prior art is achieved.
According to a preferred embodiment, the arcuate pressure wall preferably has at its lower end area
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
a fold-out device in the form of a swivel-out housing wall. This fold-out device is preferably actuated mechanically-hydraulically. This fold-out device has a progressive effect since the uncrushable foreign bodies can be removed when the rotor is jammed. In the case of corresponding situations, the funnel or the filling chamber had to be emptied in the comminution devices of the prior art, an operator having to enter the room, which, as practice has shown, was very problematic and associated with a great risk of accidents.
The essence of the present invention can be further seen from the attached drawing (= figure).
With the reference number 1 is the knife rotor, with 2 an adjustable counter knife, with 3 an adjustable secondary knife, with a sieve, with 5 an arched pressing wall, with 5a an arched fold-out device in the form of a swing-out housing wall, with 6 a crescent pressing device, 7 with a filling space and 8 with an outlet for the shredded material. 5b denotes the counter wall.
A preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown by way of example in the figure
