Abstract
The invention relates to an absorber for a solar collector, with tubes 1 parallel to one another, in each case two of the adjacent tubes 1 being connected alternately to the top side and the underside by means of absorber plates 2, 3, the ends of which are bent around the tube casing so as partially to surround the latter, there being arranged on the underside of the absorber 4, between the ends 2', bent around the tube casings of adjacent tubes 1, of the lower absorber plates 2, clamping plates 5 of U-shaped cross-section, which bear with their legs 6 on the bends 2' of two adjacent lower absorber plates 2 and with their base 7 on the underside of the upper absorber plate 3 located between them. <IMAGE>
Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

The invention relates to an absorber for a solar collector, with mutually parallel tubes, two adjacent tubes alternately connected on the top and bottom by means of absorber plates, the ends of which are bent around the tube shell, partially enclosing it.
In the case of absorbers of this type, it has become known (US Pat. No. 4,351,321 A) to provide hook-shaped absorber plates which partially encompass the mutually parallel tubes of the absorber, one from the top and one from the bottom.
This embodiment has the disadvantage that the position of the individual tubes is not secured.
The object of the invention is to remedy this. mentioned type that on the underside of the absorber, between the ends of the lower absorber sheets bent around the pipe jackets of adjacent pipes, U-shaped in cross section, with their legs on the bends of two adjacent absorber sheets below and with their base on the underside of the intermediate tension plate are arranged between the upper absorber plate.
The tensioning plate provided according to the invention secure the position of the absorber tubes and additionally improve the thermal conductivity of the absorber. The arrangement of the clamping plate also allows greater tolerances to be allowed during production.
In a further embodiment it is provided that the free ends of the legs of the tensioning plate protrude to the level of the lower absorber plates. This ensures that the absorber sheets are not overlooked by the tensioning sheets.
Copper is preferably used as the material for the absorber sheets, and aluminum is preferably used for the tensioning sheet.
The absorber tubes are preferably made of copper. With their ends they are soldered into collecting pipes and form a pipe register.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing:
EMI1.1
1Fig. 1.
The absorber is designated as a whole by 4. It has absorber tubes 1, which are soldered into header tubes 8 with their free ends. The tubes 1 are arranged parallel to one another, with two adjacent tubes 1 being connected alternately on the top and bottom by means of absorber plates 2, 3, the ends of which are bent around the tube shell, partially enclosing it. Clamping plate 5 are arranged on the underside of the absorber 4. The clamping plate 5 are U-shaped in cross-section and lie between the ends 2 ′ of the lower absorber plates 2 bent around the pipe jackets of adjacent pipes 1. The legs 6 of the clamping plate 5 rest against the bends 2 ′ of two adjacent, below-lying absorber plates 2 . The free ends of the legs 6 of the clamping plate 5 protrude to the level of the lower absorber plates 2.
