<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

The invention relates to an acoustic insulation panel with a base body, with grooves extending from both sides into the interior of the panel.
Acoustic insulation boards, which are provided on both sides with continuous grooves, the grooves on each side running parallel to one another and the grooves on one side to the grooves on the other side of the acoustic insulation board at an angle of 90 to one another, are from EP 388 355 A, EP 528 061 A and from FR 1 015 972 A. A disadvantage of the known embodiments of acoustic insulation panels is the fact that the size of the openings in the acoustic insulation panel is determined exclusively by the width of the grooves, if necessary by their shape. As a result, the design options of the known acoustic insulation panels are limited, in particular with regard to the through openings provided in them, which are decisive for the sound-absorbing effect.
FR 2 612 225 A shows an element of an acoustic lining in which grooves on both sides of the element are aligned parallel to one another, the base body being rectangular and the continuous grooves running parallel to the longer edge of the base body. The grooves on one side of the element have a different cross-sectional shape than the grooves on the other side, the grooves on one side of the element having a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape and the grooves on the other side of the element having a triangular cross-sectional shape.
DE 34 01 312 A discloses a sound-absorbing particle board with slots that are aligned parallel to each other on both sides of the plate. Two slots arranged one above the other form a through opening with a tube.
EP 0 361 025 A shows a noise protection element with mutually parallel grooves on both sides of the element, which are not only arranged in parallel on both sides but also at corresponding points. The grooves are also continuous and have a trapezoidal cross-sectional shape
From EP 0 023 618 A it is known to use a sound absorbing building board with a fibrous support, e.g. B. to equip a fleece.
DE 21 13 776 B shows an acoustic ceiling panel with rounded edges of the grooves provided in it.
The invention has for its object to present an acoustic insulation board in which the size of the through openings in the board can be chosen largely freely.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the grooves on both sides of the plate, as is known per se, are aligned parallel to one another and in that the grooves on one side of the plate have sections along which the grooves are deeper than the distance of the groove bottoms from the grooves provided on the other side and the grooves on the side of the plate facing away from this side, and that known through-openings are provided in the region of the deeper sections of the grooves.
In a modified embodiment, the invention relates to an acoustic insulation panel with through openings and depressions with different shapes provided on both sides of the panel. In this embodiment, the object on which the invention is based is achieved in that the depressions on one side of the plate have a square outline shape and that the depressions on the other side of the plate are circular holes and that the through openings have an outline shape which corresponds to the outline shape of the correspond to square depressions on one side of the plate.
Advantageous and preferred embodiments of the acoustic insulation panels according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
With the acoustic insulation board according to the invention, the through-openings can be adjusted in size (in particular with regard to their length) to the optimum sound absorption effect in each case by making the recessed areas of the one groove, which cause the through-opening in the acoustic insulation board, correspondingly long.
Further advantages, features and details of the acoustic insulation board according to the invention result from the following description of preferred exemplary embodiments.
1 shows a view of a first embodiment of an acoustic insulation board, FIG. 2 shows the end view of the acoustic insulation board from FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows the side view of the acoustic insulation board from FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 4 shows a view of a second embodiment of an acoustic insulation board, 5 shows the side view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIG. 4, FIG. 6 shows the end view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIGS. 4 and 5, FIG. 7 shows a third embodiment of an acoustic insulation panel, FIG. 8 shows the

Side view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIG. 7, FIG. 9 the front view of the acoustic insulation panel
7 and 8, FIG. 10 in view a fourth embodiment of an acoustic insulation board, FIG. 11 the side view of the acoustic insulation board from FIG. 4, FIG.
12 shows the end view of the acoustic insulation board from FIGS. 10 and 11, FIG. 13 shows another embodiment of an acoustic insulation board, FIG.
14 the side view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIG. 13, FIG. 15 the end view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIGS. 13 and 14, FIG. 16 in view a further embodiment of an acoustic insulation panel and FIG. 17 the end view of the acoustic insulation panel from FIG. 16.
In all embodiments, the acoustic insulation panels according to the invention can consist of medium-density fiberboard, plywood panels or chipboard.
It goes without saying that plywood, solid wood or other millable materials with good inherent stability can be used as the material for the acoustic insulation boards according to the invention in addition to the materials mentioned above.
The panel surfaces can be veneered and / or lacquered between the grooves as desired
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the acoustic insulation board 1 consists of a plate-shaped base body 2, which is provided on the visible side 3 with mutually parallel grooves 4 with a uniform depth and rectangular or square cross-section.
It is preferred that the grooves 4 run parallel to the longer side edge 5 of the base body 2, have the same cross-sectional shape and size and have the same spacing from one another.
On the side 6 opposite the visible side 3, grooves 7 with a rectangular or square cross section are milled into grooves 4 on the visible side 3 and have sections of different depths. Through openings 10 are formed on the deeper sections 8 of the grooves 7 on the side 6 of the base body 2 facing away from the visible side 3, which are shown cross-hatched in the view of FIG. 1.
In the less deep areas of the grooves 7, webs 12 remain, which ensure good stability of the acoustic insulation boards 1.
On the side 6 of the panel 1 facing away from the visible side 3, an acoustic device 11 can be attached, as is indicated in FIGS. 2 and 3.
It can be seen that the size of the through openings 10 are determined by the width of the grooves 4 and 7 on the one hand and by the length of the deeper sections 8 of the grooves 7 on the side 6 of the base body 2 facing away from the visible side 3. Thus, the planner who manufactures acoustic insulation boards has to adapt the acoustic properties of the board 1 to the respective requirements, even when the external appearance of the acoustic insulation board 1 is essentially the same as seen from the visible side 3. The absorption capacity of the plate 1 according to the invention is primarily determined by the size of the through openings 10 (openwork area).
The free cross-sectional area that is important for sound absorption can be formed from 0 to 42%, which, in conjunction with a backing of the plate according to the invention with insulating materials, makes it possible to adapt the frequency range to be absorbed very precisely to the acoustic requirements
The absorption properties of the acoustic insulation panels 1 according to the invention can be changed by a corresponding choice of the size of the through openings 10 from a highly absorbent to a sound-reflecting embodiment, without the architectural design of the panel face 3 changing fundamentally
Sound is conducted through the through openings 10 into the sound-absorbing grooves 7 on the rear side 6 of the plate 1, and is absorbed there.
This has the advantage that the described thickness of the acoustic insulation panel 1 can reduce the residual thickness of the surface facing the visible side 3 to a minimum, which, due to the geometry of the acoustic insulation panel 1 according to the invention, improves the absorption properties in the low-frequency range despite the good stability of the acoustic insulation panel 1 can be achieved This property is of particular advantage when the acoustic insulation panels 1 according to the invention are used in gyms (ball throwing safety) and in claddings which are installed in the region of the top edge of the floor up to shoulder height.
4 to 6 show an embodiment of the panel 1 according to the invention, in which the grooves 4 and 7 on both sides 3 and 6 of the panel 1 have rectangular cross-sectional shapes of different dimensions, so that the appearance of the acoustic insulation panel 1 shown in FIG. 6 results.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
In the embodiment of an acoustic insulation board 1 shown in FIG. 7, the grooves 4 provided on the visible side 3 are designed with a trapezoidal cross section, whereas the grooves 7 on the rear side 6 have a rectangular or square cross-sectional shape.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 10 to 12, the grooves 4 facing the visible side 3 are formed with rounded edges 14, so that there are rounded transitions from the groove walls to the visible side 3 of the acoustic insulation board 1. The grooves 7 on the side 6 of the base body 2 facing away from the visible side 3 are designed as grooves 7 with a V-shaped (triangular) cross-sectional shape.
13 to 15 show an embodiment of the plate 1 according to the invention, in which the grooves 4 and 7 are not designed to be continuous over the entire length of the base body 2. This embodiment is conceivable for all the variants and groove combinations described above, as well as for those in FIGS 13 to 15 shown grooves 4 and 7 with substantially rectangular cross-sectional shapes.
In the embodiment of the acoustic insulation board 1 according to the invention shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the through openings 10 are formed in that square punchings 20 are provided from the visible side 3 and circular millings 22 are made from the side 6 facing away from the visible side 3, whereby the punchings 20 and the millings 22 overlap in the interior of the base body 2. Thus, despite the good stability of the embodiment of the acoustic insulation board 1 shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, good intrinsic stability of the board 1 with a square hole structure can be obtained.
In summary, a preferred exemplary embodiment of an acoustic insulation board 1 according to the invention can be described as follows:
An acoustic insulation board 1 with sound-absorbing properties consists of a base body 2. In the base body 2, 3.6 of the same grooves 4 and 7 are provided in both large areas 3, 2, which run parallel to one another. The grooves 4 provided on the visible side 3 of the plate 1 have a uniform depth. The grooves 7 provided on the rear side 6 of the plate 1 have recessed sections 8 which are so deep that there are through openings 10 in the region of the recessed sections 8.
By the length and number of the recessed sections 8 and the size of the cross section of the grooves 7 and 4, the size of the perforated area, that is the size of the through openings 10 in the plate 1 and thus their sound absorption effect can be determined according to the respective requirements.
