Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 4>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 5>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 6>

 deren Beschreibung.

 <Desc/Clms Page number 7>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 8>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 9>

  The present invention relates to a sound-absorbing element which consists of several layers and has recesses in at least one layer. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for producing such an element.

  Such sound absorbing elements, also as so-called.

  "Acoustic panels" are known in the most varied of embodiments in the prior art.

  Generic-like plates include configurations with through holes, through slots set off from the visible side, or similar recesses. Longitudinal and / or transverse grooved plates are also known, the

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 The front of the plate is longitudinally grooved, while the back of the plate is grooved.

  The aim of such acoustic panels is in addition to general noise insulation and. a. the reduction or complete elimination of reverberation effects of sound, especially in rooms with a high sound reflectivity, such as in multipurpose halls, museums and the like.

  Special areas of application for these elements can also be found in concert halls, with additional aesthetic considerations being taken into account by appropriately designing the visible side of these acoustic panels.

  A genus-like element which reduces the reverberation times of the sound is known, for example, from German laid-open specification DE 195 05 025. In this, a plate-shaped element is disclosed, the top of which is provided with a plurality of grooves extending parallel into the element, whereas the rear of the element has a series of bores which are aligned with the respective groove in the front, so that appropriate
Sound passage openings result. The manufacture of such an element, in particular the milling of the grooves and the
Drilling the holes is done in many individual
Work steps, which proves to be time and cost intensive.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

  This is also the case in the manufacture of longitudinally and transversely grooved acoustic panels. With these, at least two separate work steps must be carried out with regard to the provision of recesses, the milling of the longitudinal grooves on the one hand and the milling of the transverse grooves on the other hand. In the case of embodiments with more than two layers, these are now each individually prefabricated with the corresponding recesses before these are then combined to form a composite.

  Based on these disadvantages described in the prior art, it is the object of the present invention to provide a sound-absorbing element which can be produced economically in a few efficient steps and which, at the same time, is individually adapted to the requirements of the sound absorption to be achieved by simple measures in its production can be.

  These tasks are solved by the characteristics of the
Claim 1 and claim 9. Further advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject of
Subclaims.

   According to the present invention, the degree of attainability
Sound absorption only depends on the number of
Slots per layer, their slot width and their spacing from each other and which layers of the element with

 <Desc / Clms Page number 4>

 Slots are provided. Therefore, only the milling or planing tool needs to be converted or replaced during manufacture. The procedural steps as such remain unaffected.

  Thus, a significant advantage of the sound-absorbing element according to the present invention is based on the fact that the arrangement of slits in the different layers and their different geometrical or size-related configuration create a variability that leads to the design of acoustic problems, depending on the area of application of the element according to the invention can be used without the production process having to be changed significantly and the economy thereof not being impaired by additional work steps.

   In other words, this means that regardless of the number of slots or the slot width in the front plate or the rear plate, the element always in two operations, the gluing and pressing of the respective plates on the one hand and the simultaneous milling of the respective slots together with the grooves and tongues on the other can be produced in an efficient manner.

   The plate-shaped elements produced in this way can be used for
Arrangement on ceilings and walls can be cut accordingly afterwards, with the fastening side passing through

 <Desc / Clms Page number 5>

 the back plate of the element is formed, cooperates with corresponding connection mechanisms, optionally using substructures.

  Such an acoustic element is preferably made of wood materials. In particular, so-called MDF (medium density fiber) panels are to be used in the elements according to the present invention, in particular in the middle layer. To avoid the risk of fire, the use of cement or plaster components as board material is also conceivable.

  The slots of both the intermediate plate and the front and rear plates are, for example, in a range from 9 to 12 mm, but are preferably directed to the desired degree of absorption of the respective place of use. The design, the top of the front panel as the visible side of the element, has no creative limits.

  A method according to the invention is characterized in that the front panel is pressed simultaneously with a layer of veneer, HPL (high pressure laminate) or melamine resin paper.

  Advantages and further features of the element according to the present invention result from the exemplary embodiments and shown in the attached drawing

 <Desc / Clms Page number 6>

 their description. The features shown in the drawing and mentioned in the claims and in the description are each essential to the invention individually or in any combination.

   FIG. 1 shows a first exemplary embodiment of an element according to the invention with only one slotted one
Intermediate plate in top view and side view of the respective edge sides; FIG. 2 shows a second exemplary embodiment with a slotted front plate in top view and side view of the respective edge sides; and FIG. 3 shows a third exemplary embodiment of the element with both a slotted front plate and a slotted rear plate in plan view and
Side view of the corresponding edge pages.

  Figure 1 shows an element 1 which has a substantially rectangular shape. The element 1 is sandwiched from several congruent layers, an intermediate plate 2, a front plate 3 arranged thereon, which serves as the visible side of the element 1, and a rear plate 4 opposite the front plate 3, which is used to fasten the element 1 to a wall, ceiling or the like is used.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 7>

  In the present exemplary embodiment, only the intermediate plate 2 is provided with slots 5, whereas the front plate 3 and the rear plate 4 are formed in one piece. The front plate 3 closes the slots 5 in the intermediate plate 2, which can then act as quasi-resonance chambers.

  In a side view of FIG. 1, the longer edge side of the element 1 is shown and it can be seen that the slots 5 extend approximately to the entire thickness of the intermediate plate 2.

  A groove 9 is provided on one edge side of the element 1, the opposite edge side having a tongue 10 which is complementary to the groove 9 and which can be engaged in a corresponding groove 9 of a further element 1 according to the invention, in order in this way to cover large areas for walls and being able to form ceilings.

  FIG. 2 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the element 1 according to the invention, in which the front plate 3 is provided with slots 6 which pass through this front plate 3 in parallel at a constant distance. It can be seen in the corresponding side view of the shorter edge side of the element 1 that these slots 6 extend to a depth which is below the thickness of the front plate 3, so that the slots 6 in

 <Desc / Clms Page number 8>

 protrude the intermediate plate 2 and thereby cut the slits 5 extending transversely to the slits 6. In this way, a sound passage opening 8 is created at each interface between the slots 5 and 6, as shown in the top view of FIG. 2.

   In this embodiment of the element 1, the sound passage openings 8, in which the sound can be collected, therefore only extend to a depth which corresponds to the depth of the slots 5 in the intermediate plate 2, since the rear plate 4 itself has no slots.

  In a further embodiment according to the invention, which is shown in FIG. 3, the back plate 4 now also has corresponding slots 7 at constant intervals.

  Here, the slots 7 of the rear plate 4 are aligned in relation to the slots 6 of the front plate 3, but have a larger slot width.

  In the side view of the shorter edge side of the element 1 it can be seen that the slots 7, analogous to the slots 6 of the front plate 3, extend to a depth below the thickness of the rear plate 4 and so far into the intermediate plate 2 extend in that they cut the slots 5 extending transversely to the slots 7 and thus form a sound passage opening 8 at the respective interfaces. Due to the fact that the slots 6 and the slots 7 face each other,

 <Desc / Clms Page number 9>

 sound passage openings 8 are thus created, which extend over the three plate layers and thus penetrate the entire thickness of the element 1. This creates larger rooms in which the sound can be collected.

   If the element 1 is arranged on a substructure of a wall and is at a certain distance from this, further absorption spaces are available for the sound waves.

  The respective embodiments of the element 1 are characterized by relatively simple structural designs. It can be seen that a suitable tool design for a planing or milling machine means that all profile shapes, i.e. Both the slots 6 of the front plate 3 and the slots 7 of the rear plate 4 as well as the grooves 9 and the springs 11 on opposite edge sides of the elements 1 can be produced in a single operation.
