Durch diese Anordnung erreicht man, dass man den zu bemusternden Stoff p, welcher zweckmässig in fahrbaren Kästen q und r untergebracht wird, bequem und sicher weiterfuhren und mit genauem Rapport auf die Matrize l auflegen kann.
Die forttaufende Bemusterung geschieht in folgender Weise :
Der Anfang des in den meisten Fällen anzufeuchtenden Stoffes p wird aus dem Kasten q herausgenommen und über die Verlängerung n hinweg bis zur Vorderkante der Matritze I gezogen, dann wird die Matritze l mit dem auf ihr liegenden Stoff p durch Hineinschieben der Platte M, M zwischen die geheizten Pressplatten bund c, in die auf der Zeichnung punktiert angegebene Position gebracht und die Presse durch Drehen der Kurbel s in Bewegung gesetzt, so dass rich die Oberplatte b mit der Patrize senkt und das Relief auf den Stoff p aufdrückt.
Nachdem die Ware auf diese Weise eine entsprechende Zeit lang dem Pressdruck der Patrize k bzw. der Matrize l ausgesetzt ist, hebt man die obere Platte b wieder hoch, indem man die Kurbel s vor-oder rückwärts dreht.
Hat der Excenter à seine Höchststellung erreicht, ist also die Oberplatte b vollkommen gehoben, so zieht man die Platte m, n heraus, nimmt den gepressten Teil der Ware von der Matrize'hinweg und zieht die Ware so weit vor, bis der an den gepressten Teil anschliessende Teil auf die Matrize l zu liegen kommt. Hierbei gelangt der bereits gepresste Abschnitt, soweit er nicht herunterhängt, in den vorderen Kasten r, während ein entsprechendes Stück von der im hinteren Kasten q liegenden Ware aus demselben herausgezogen wird.
