   Bei den Dampfkesseln mit im Wasser brennender Flamme, durch welche bekanntlich das Wasser nicht nur in Dampf verwandelt, sondern auch in seine Elemente-Wasserstoff und Sauerstoff-zerlegt wird, war es bisher üblich, das Ersatzwasser an einer möglichst hochgelegenen Stelle, nahe dem Wasserspiegel in den Kessel eintreten zu lassen. Hiebei sinkt das kalte Wasser nach unten, mischt sich mit heissem Wasser und in der Umgebung der Flamme befindet sich stets Wasser von einer ziemlich gleichbleibenden, dem im Kessel herrschenden Drucke entsprechenden Temperatur. 



   Bei einer solchen Anordnung werden die Wärmestrahlen der Flamme zwar vollkommen ausgenutzt, nicht jedoch die nur kurze Wellen besitzenden chemischen Strahlen, an denen die Flamme ausserordentlich reich ist und die einen erheblichen Teil der Flammenenergie ausmachen. Diese chemischen Strahlen durchdringen das umgebende Wasser von konstanter Temperatur und auch die   Kesselwände   ohne eine Wasserzersetzung herbeizuführen. Nur so lange das die Flamme umgebende Wasser seine Temperatur erhöht, bringen diese chemischen Strahlen eine Zerlegung des Wassers hervor und steigern in unglaublicher Weise die schon durch die Wärmestrahlen erfolgende Zerlegung des Wassers in seine Elemente. 



   Zur Erreichung dieses Zweckes ist es bekannt, das kalte Wasser ganz unten in den Behälter einzuleiten. 



   Durch den Gegenstand der Erfindung ist es möglich, das kalte Wasser oben einzuleiten und dennoch zu erreichen, dass sich in der Umgebung der Flamme stets Wasser von niedriger, durch die Flamme zu steigernder Temperatur befindet. Bei der in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes wird das Wasser durch ein Rohr 7t eingeleitet, sinkt alsdann durch einen ringförmigen Spalt oder durch nach unten gerichtete Öffnungen strahlenförmig aus einer Kammer i nach unten, seinen Weg an der Flamme vorübernehmend.

The cold water sinks to the bottom, mixes with hot water, and in the vicinity of the flame there is always water of a fairly constant temperature corresponding to the pressure prevailing in the boiler.



   With such an arrangement, the heat rays of the flame are fully utilized, but not the chemical rays, which have only short waves, in which the flame is extremely rich and which make up a considerable part of the flame energy. These chemical rays penetrate the surrounding water of constant temperature and also the boiler walls without causing any water decomposition. Only as long as the water surrounding the flame increases its temperature, these chemical rays bring about a decomposition of the water and increase in an unbelievable way the decomposition of the water into its elements already carried out by the heat rays.



   To achieve this, it is known to introduce the cold water at the bottom of the container.



   The subject matter of the invention makes it possible to introduce the cold water at the top and still achieve that in the vicinity of the flame there is always water of a lower temperature which can be increased by the flame. In the embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown in the drawing, the water is introduced through a pipe 7t, then sinks downward through an annular gap or through openings directed downwards from a chamber i, making its way past the flame.
