Wheel with springy spokes.
The subject of the invention is a wheel with spokes running in the direction of a chord of the fig circle, which are guided at the outer ends in slots of arcs arranged on the rim, while their inner ends are fork-shaped and displaceable in the hub, the fork ends of two Spokes lying in the same tendon are pushed into one another and prongs belonging to two different forks are surrounded by a common spring.
In the drawing, Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the wheel in front view, Figs. 2 and 3 the arrangement of the fork ends and spokes. Fig. 4 shows the spokes and hub in a shifted position relative to the rim.
The wheel tire a carries slotted rim arcs b on the inner circumference, in their slot. The outer ends of the spokes c, which run along a tendon, are slidably guided. The inner end of each spoke is forked and slidable in the box-like hub 1. The arrangement is such that the fork ends of a spoke are pushed into the fork of a spoke lying in the same tendon, while the The spokes of two adjacent tendons cross each other, two adjacent fork prongs belonging to different forks are wrapped with one or more common springs, the ends of which are supported on projections of the prongs and which are held in the middle by discs fixed in the hub case.
The arrangement described allows a strong, sufficient suspension of the axle even in the event of sharp bumps.
