Description

Arched insole corresponding to the normal arch of the foot.

To date, insoles have been used for flat foot insoles. a curved plate and a steel band arranged underneath and firmly connected to the plate have been used. The plate was either made of resistant material, in this case the steel band was used for support and had to absorb all the pressure, or it was made of resilient material, which was too weak to absorb the pressure and was therefore reinforced by the steel band. According to the present invention, the insole is made of resilient sheet metal, which has to absorb the entire pressure, the deflection of which, however, is limited by the steel band during the suspension. This gives the insole an effect similar to that of a normal foot.

In the drawing, the two FIGS. 1 and 2 depict an exemplary embodiment in longitudinal section, namely FIG. 1 shows the insole in an unloaded state, FIG. 2 in a loaded state.

Under the arched resilient metal plate a, the steel band b is attached by rivets or also by screws, etc. c; the dotted line d in Fig. 2 indicates the position of the metal plate in the unloaded state.
