Verfahren zur Darstellung von braunen Küpenfarbstoffen der Anthrazenreihe.
In der deutschen Patentschrift Nr. 91508 sind schwarze Schwefelfarbstoffo beschrieben, welche durch Erhitzen von 1:5-Dinitroanthrachinon oder dem rohen, durch Nitrieren von Anthrachinon erhaltenen Dinitroanthrachinon oder den Heduktionsprodukten dieser Körper mit Alkalipolysulfiden entstehen.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass wesentlich andere Farbstoffe sich bilden, wenn man die genannten Anthrachinonderivate mit Alkalipolysulfiden, vorteilhaft unter Druck, so lange erhitzt, bis die Reaktionsprodukte in Wasser nicht mehr löslich sind. Die so erhaltenen Farbstoffe sind in Wasser, All kalilauge, Alkalisulfidlösung unlöslich ; sie besitzen den

German Patent No. 91508 describes black sulfur dyes which are produced by heating 1: 5-dinitroanthraquinone or the crude dinitroanthraquinone obtained by nitrating anthraquinone or the heduction products of these bodies with alkali polysulphides.
It has now been found that significantly different dyes are formed if the anthraquinone derivatives mentioned are heated with alkali metal polysulfides, advantageously under pressure, until the reaction products are no longer soluble in water.
