Power machine or pump with a piston wing that can be folded down on the rotating piston drum.
The invention relates to a machine in which a piston drum mounted eccentrically with respect to the main shaft is provided for both rides of a disc rotating with the main shaft, the hinged piston wing of which is connected to the disc. The innovation consists in the fact that the main shaft, which passes through the drums and both side plates of the cylinder, as well as the guide pins of the drums that are attached to the side plates of the cylinder and reach up to the disc, carry sleeves, all of which have an inner bore without touching one another of the drums and on both sides of the disk are in contact with a sleeve each, which surrounds a fixed shaft journal arranged concentrically to the piston drums.
In the drawing showing an embodiment of the machine, FIGS. 1 and 2 show a vertical cross-section or a longitudinal section through the machine.
The housing of the machine is denoted by a and the main shaft by b, which is passed through bearing openings c provided in the side plates d. A disk e is attached to the shaft b. A pin f, which is arranged eccentrically to the housing and is loosely enclosed by a sleeve, is attached to each of the side plates d. The main shaft b is of one

has knives than the latter. Another five pins k are attached to the side plates d and are enclosed by sleeves In, the diameter of which is the same as that of the sleeve h.
All of the sleeves m touch the sleeve g, but not the sleeve h and are also not in contact with one another. A drum n is arranged on each side of the disk e and has a central bore o, the inner surface of which encloses and touches the sleeves A and w. A curved piston vane is articulated to the drum n by means of the bolt q and is articulated to a sealing shoe s by means of a bolt r penetrating the disk e. The shoe s is designed in such a way that it fits snugly against the inner surface of the cylinder. The drum n has a cutout t on the circumference, in which the piston wing p and the shoe s can precisely insert when the parts mentioned pass the lowest point 11 of the housing.
At this point, the housing has a corresponding to the circumference of the drum n

Drum n. The outlet channels w are also directed. In the disk e (not shown) holes are provided through which the working fluid can pass from one side of the disk to the other side. As a result, there is not only pressure equalization in both chambers

prevented from passing under the pane.
The machine works as follows:
Assuming that the moving parts of the machine are in the position shown in FIG.
EMI1.4
Piston vane p moving counter-clockwise exerts a pulling effect on the pin r, the rotational movement being transmitted to the disk e and the shaft b. At the same time, the bolt q exerts a shock effect on the drum n and causes it to rotate around the shaft f. As a result, the wing p makes a circular motion

According to the drawing, each of the drums has only one piston sqgel p. If necessary, however, several such wings can be arranged on each drum.
Instead of the sleeve h loosely surrounding the main shaft b, this shaft can also directly touch the sleeve g. The shaft b could just as well be with a ring or a
Be provided collar which on the one hand touches the sleeve g and on the other hand the inner surface of the drum n. The sleeve h can be exchangeable.
The machine can be used as a steam, liquid or explosive gas powered engine, furthermore as a pump or compressor, and can be arranged as a compound machine.
