Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und einen Blutmessstreifen (100) zur Messung der Kaliumkonzentration in einer Blutprobe unter Verwendung eines Auslesegeräts (200), wobei der Blutmessstreifen (100) einen Eingangsbereich (1) zur Aufnahme der Blutprobe aufweist und einen mit dem Eingangsbereich (1) verbundenen Messbereich (3), wobei in dem Messbereich (3) ein lumineszenter Indikatorfarbstoff angeordnet ist, dessen Intensität der Lumineszenz von der Kaliumkonzentration der Blutprobe abhängt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in dem Messbereich (3) ein lumineszenter Referenzfarbstoff angeordnet ist, dessen Intensität und Abklingzeit der Lumineszenz nicht von der Kaliumkonzentration der Blutprobe abhängt
