  Diese Rinnen oder Rohre können zweckmässig mit durch Gegengewichte 13 belasteten Schiebern 14 versehen sein, die selbsttätig geöffnet werden, wenn auf sie eine gewisse Menge Material herabgefallen ist, aber sonst geschlossen gehalten werden, und somit verhindern, dass Gase durch die genannten Rinnen aufsteigen. 15 ist der oben erwähnte exzentrisch angeordnete Zapfen.
