Carrier for backpacks or the like.

The present invention relates to a carrier, particularly intended for rucksacks, which consists of a plate stiffening the rucksack in the transverse direction and a bow-shaped longitudinal stiffener that is adjustable in height and is intended essentially to achieve perfect back unity without the associated accomplished means, as with the known porters, would be a hindrance to a comfortable and quick shouldering of the rucksack.

 is covered.

With this design of the plate, in addition to a light design, the advantage is achieved that if the plate breaks or if the rucksack carrier falls, the rucksack carrier cannot be injured.
 EMI1.2
Fastening plate 29 encompassing the edge in the middle, which on the side facing the rucksack has two eyelets 30 protruding beyond the lower edge of the plate, into which the wire bracket 27 is inserted with its hook-shaped ends 27 ″, so that it is dead when the wearer is not in use gave way automatically pivoted downwards. If the wire bracket is pivoted downward into the position of use, the lower plate edge limits its upward movement.

In the position of use engages between the ends 27 ″ of the wire bracket 27, a projection 31 of the fastening plate 29 which is located in front of the eyelets JC and thus secures the bracket ends
 EMI1.3

To attach the plate 1 to the rear wall of the rucksack, two leather flaps or the like attached to the lower edge thereof are used. 32 with buttonholes, which are placed over appropriately arranged buttons of the rucksack, as well as one arranged on the upper edge of the plate in the middle, not shown Loop or the like, through which a buckle

If the backpack is shouldered, the back support is unfolded so that it covers the back

pulled, then passed through a loop 41 on the back of the straps 37 around the lower plate edge to a fastening loop 4.8 of the rucksack and connected to its buckle end so that the middle part of the strap 37 is drawn in when this strap is tightened.

In this way, the belt 37 can be adapted to the shape of the back so that it rests on the back only in two places.

Buckle straps 43 are also provided on the belt on the back of the plate 1 near its ends, by means of which the rucksack can be attached near its lower corners so that it clings to the back of the plate 1 and, due to its misshapen design, can and swaying is safely preserved, and its weight is distributed to the support points of the belt on the back while relieving the shoulder straps.

Finally, near the plate ends 36, suitable fastening means, e.g. B. buckles or the like. 44 are provided, to which the belt next to the belt 37 can be attached when the carrier is used for military purposes.

By designing the cross stiffening plate of the carrier as a resilient back support, the use of a separate wire bracket support is unnecessary and significant advantages are created over the known carriers of this type.
