Description

    Regelungivorrichtung für Abdampfkraftmaschlnen.
 EMI1.1

Control device for exhaust steam machines.
 EMI1.1
The pressure regulator membrane is always the same as at the end of the exhaust pipe b.

However, the pressure at the end of the pipeline is lower than the pressure in the steam accumulator c, ie at the beginning of the pipeline, by the pressure gradient, which corresponds to the velocity energy of the exhaust steam and the losses in the pipeline.

This shortfall has a very negative impact on the small pressure differences that are available with modern steam collectors.

If the load on the unit or the available amount of exhaust steam fluctuates within larger limits, pressure control is often impossible. The exhaust valve is always opened and closed alternately, so that the steam speed in the exhaust line changes considerably. The pressure difference available on the regulator for the adjustment fluctuates with the steam speed, so that the pressure in the pressure regulator is not clearly related to the pressure in the steam collector.

In order to avoid these disadvantages of the known arrangements, according to the invention the pressure regulator a is brought into direct contact with the steam collecting chamber through the special line fi so that the movement of the pressure regulator is initiated completely independently of any steam flow due to the pressure difference in the steam accumulator c.

Since this line for the control fluid between the machine and the hot water reservoir fails for a very long time, a considerable amount of steam is condensed in this line.

regulator, so that permanent and complete drainage must be ensured. To achieve the latter, as soon as the pressure to be kept constant is above atmospheric voltage. this control line d be laid both from the pressure regulator and from the steam accumulator with a filling level up to H to the lowest point. Through an opening e at this lowest point, the accumulating condensate should be continuously drained by the exhaust steam itself.

On the other hand, the escaping steam is intended to provide visible evidence that the control line is completely free of condensate.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Control device for exhaust steam engines, in which the pressure differences of the exhaust steam are used to Boinssussung the control linkage, characterized in that the pressure regulator (a) with the steam space in the heat accumulator (c) through a special line (d) in connection, so that the Adjustment of the pressure regulator by the pressure difference in the steam collector takes place independently of any steam flow.
