or iooooo "Below this pressure the effect remains almost constant. On the other hand, the effect increases at any pressure with the ratio of the temperature of the heated wall to the temperature of the opposite wall parts.
The present invention uses the described thermal blowing effect of a heated vessel wall in order to convey gas out of vessels.
The arrangements can be of various kinds. What they all have in common is a more heated surface that acts as a blower. This is arranged in an auxiliary container which is connected to the space to be emptied. The outlet opening lies approximately in the main direction of the surface. The opening that leads to the room to be emptied must be arranged in this way. that, due to its position or shape, it is less subject to the influence of the wind player than the exit opening.
From these general points of view, the arrangements shown in FIGS. 2 to 7 can be selected, for example. In Fig. 2, a is the vessel to be emptied, b is a spherical one
Vessel that is in communication with space f7 through connecting pipe c and with another vessel (e.g. a pre-vacuum) into which the conveyed
Gas continues to flow in. The wall parts e have a higher temperature than the other wall parts of the vessel b and are arranged in such a way that their blowing effect is directed approximately in the direction of the outlet opening d. A gas flow arises in the direction of the arrow.
If, instead of one ball b, several are used in series connection, as shown in FIG. 3, the effect is increased and at very low pressure one can approximately assume that the pressure ratio generated by n individual elements connected one behind the other

This is also the case if the back of the surfaces is not covered with cooled surfaces or heat insulators.
For similar reasons, there is a blowing effect in the arrangement according to FIG. 7, where
