Furcht man nun die Oberfläche der leitenden Segmente entsprechend der Lamellenteilung der nichtleitenden Segmente, so kann man eine Oberfläche erzielen, die in bezug auf gleichmässiges Verhalten auch schwierigen Anforderungen gerecht wird.
Das Verhalten der Bürsten bei einem derartigen Kollektor entspricht etwa dem, wie bei den üblichen Kommutatoren, bei denen man zur Verbesserung der Kommutierung die Isolationslamellen zwischen den Metallamellen zurückversetzt. Die Unterteilung des nichtleitenden Segmentes in einzelne Lamellen hat den weiteren Vorteil, dass sich in einfacher Weise Kommntierungseinrichtungen unterbringen lassen.
Eine solche Anordnung ist in Fig. 14 veranschaulicht. Riebei sind die an ein leitendes Segment beiderseitig angrenzenden leitenden Lamellen v1-v4 von nichtleitenden Segmenten über Widerstände Wt bis w. mit. dem leitenden Segment und miteinander verbunden.
