 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

The present invention is a process for the production of weatherproof railway carriage notices, advertisements and the like, which is used to quickly remove and replace temporarily used labels, which have to be changed frequently due to their changeability. The process consists of using a weatherproof colored varnish that can be easily, quickly and completely washed off with a suitable solvent. The method according to the invention, which
 EMI1.2
of the process on the manufacture of base plates allows easy correction of the same.

The pending process can also be used with particular advantage in electroplating for the production of coatings, because such coatings can be removed again by simply immersing them in the specific solvent.

The purpose sought by the invention is achieved through the use of varnishes and paints which do not contain any chemical change during drying, in particular no resinifying substances, but rather consist only of substances that are easily soluble in the solvent used to represent the varnish or paint in question or are also soluble in another solvent, whereby the drying of the inscription takes place by evaporation of the solvent, so that such coatings or writings or imprints almost instantaneously even after a longer existence with the help of these solvents can be removed. In contrast to this, the removal of the paints or paints produced with the help of the lacquers and paints previously used is

Writing and the like is known to be extremely difficult and usually only feasible by burning off, as the main components of the known lacquers and paints harden on drying and are then almost insoluble in most solvents.

The varnishes and paints required for the purpose of the invention are obtained by using uniform basic materials, which do not resinify due to the action of the oxygen in the air and which remain unchanged for a long time after dissolving and drying, but in particular maintain their easy solubility, in preferably slightly correct solvents dissolves with the addition of suitable dyes. However, these basic materials must also meet other requirements, depending on the respective area of application of the lacquers or paints. For paints that are intended for the production of paints, writings or the like that are exposed to the atmosphere, base materials must be used which are also insoluble in water and acids, that is to say weather-resistant bind, while for paints which, for.

   B. for the production of labels in oil cisterns, oil reservoirs and the like. Are intended, insoluble in fats, but easily soluble in water, alcohol or the like. Basic materials can be used.

A good, particularly suitable color for the production of inscriptions on railroad cars is obtained if, for B. Syrian asphalt dissolves with the addition of a fat-soluble aniline paint in trichlorethylene to the paint consistency. The color obtained in this way, which is an excellent stencil or stamp color, dries extremely quickly and can be removed instantly without a trace with trichlorethylene. This color is removed with the solvent used for its representation. As already mentioned, another solvent can also be used to remove the paint. An example of this is the production of paint by dissolving asphalt in carbon tetrachloride and removing the paint with the aid of gasoline.
