Dio bisherige Gewinnungsweise von Harz oder Balsam aus Pflanzen oder deren Bestandteilen, welche solche enthalten, besteht darin, dass man das Harz bzw. den Balsam durch Anreissen bzw. Anzapfen der diese Stoffe enthaltenden Pflanzen ausfliessen lässt oder durch Extraktion mit harzlösenden Mitteln das Harz bzw. den Balsam zu gewinnen sucht.
Es hat nahe gelegen, Harz oder Balsam aus seinen Pflanzenbehältern zu gewinnen, in, lem man diese Behälter mit kochendem Wasser behandelte. Diese Bemühungen mussten vergeblich sein, weil das Harz und der Balsam bei ihrem dem des Wassers naheliegenden spezifischen Gewicht sich von ihren Behältern wegen ihrer hohen Adhäsionskraft schwer oder gar nicht trennen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung beseitigt diesen Übelstand.
Nach dieser Erfindung kocht man bzw. erhitzt man harz-oder balsamartige Pflanzen oder deren Bestandteile in einer wässerigen Lösung von Salzen, die somit eine höhere Siedetemperatur und höheres spezifisches Gewicht als Wasser haben.
