Heating candle for military and tourist purposes.
The subject of the present invention is a heater plug for military and tourist purposes, which is a wide, short shaped piece made of one of the usual candle materials. Instead of the axially arranged wick in the case of a luminous candle, fibers, chips, strips and the like of an absorbent material are embedded in the heating material tightly and evenly. In this way, a heating element that can be produced at very low cost and can be easily transported in large quantities is obtained, which can be used without any further precautions for heating cans and the like and which does not go out in the open even in strong drafts.
The fact that the heating material is evenly and densely penetrated by the fibers or the like ensures easy flammability and at the same time prevents the liquid heating material from running off.
All common candle materials, such as types of wax, solid vegetable and mineral fats, solid fatty acids, paraffin, ceresin and similar solid mineral fuels can serve as heating material. Wood shavings and wood wool are primarily suitable as wick material, but due to their convexity, other waste materials, such as cotton waste, shredded paper and the like, can also be used.
It is advisable to cover the surface of the radiator with a covering made of paper or dg1. to dress up.
The shaped piece is advantageously provided with one or more vertical channels in order to allow air to be sucked in and thereby partially extinguish the flame with a simultaneous increase in the heating power in the manner of the Bunsen burner when it is hollowed onto a corresponding surface.
A simple plate made of sheet metal can serve as such a base, from which through

serve candle.
