   Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf die zur Aufnahme des flüssigen   Brenn-   stoffes (Benzin und dergl.) und des für den Motor nöthigen Kühlwassers dienenden Behälter und hat den Zweck, bei Unfällen, welche eine   Beschädigung dieser Behälter nach   sich ziehen, den directen Ausfluss des Brennstoffes und die Entflammung desselben zu verhindern. 



   Der Erfindung gemäss wird der   Brennstoffbehälter   in einen zweiten zur Aufnahme des Kühlwassers dienenden Behälter eingesetzt, so dass er von einem schützenden Wassermantel umgeben ist und bei Beschädigungen der   Behälterwände daher zunächst Wasser   zum   Ausfluss   gelangt. 



   Beiliegende Zeichnung stellt einen mit dieser Schutzvorrichtung versehenen Benzin-   bchälter für Automobile   in senkrechtem   Schnitt   dar. 



   Wie ersichtlich, sind zwei ineinandergestellte Behälter bund c angeordnet, von welchen der innere durch ein Rohr a mit Benzin (oder anderem flüssigen Brennstoff), der   äussere durch ein Mohr   mit Wasser gefüllt wird, welches somit eine Schutzschicht bildet, indem bei Unfällen zunächst nur Wasser ausfliesst.
