Fig. 4 bis 6 einen Doppelkreisbogen.

  Wooden truss.

The object of the invention is a wooden truss, consisting of arched girdle parts, offset from one another in the direction of the arch circumference and laterally connected, consisting of polygonal tendons, all of the joints of which are laid in the truss nodes and covered at them; here can the bow belt parts, as with
 EMI1.1
There are nailed lamellas, or, as in the case of the varieties of this arch, be designed as straight planks.

It is known per se in frameworks of various types to unite the ends of the belt parts and the struts in a common node and to lap them there, but this measure in a framework that is offset from one another and laterally connected from the direction of the arc circumference, is composed of arched belt parts consisting of polygonal tendons, due to the combination of the belt parts that exist in constructions with colliding in the truss nodes and the effects of de l'Orme's arch and its variants, the load-bearing capacity of wooden trusses is beyond expectations
 EMI1.2
 larger spans possible than before.

The drawing shows two possible designs of the new truss, each in a complete but sketchy longitudinal view, a more precisely executed piece of the latter and a nodal section, namely in the
Fig. I to 3 a parabolic beam with a straight lower chord and in the
4 to 6 show a double arc.
