Verfahren zur Darstellung von kolloidalen Silberlösungen.
Die in der therapeutischen Praxis zur Verwendung gelangenden Lösungen kolloidalen Silbers enthalten eiweissartige Körper, deren Zusatz die Haltbarkeit des kolloidalen Zustandes bei der Aufbewahrung bedingen sowie Schutz gegen die fällenden Einflüsse der Elektrolyte des Blutes und der Gewebe gewähren.
Es hat sich nun in der medizinischen Praxis herausgestellt, dass die bei der Anwendung von kolloidaler Silberlösung auftretenden unahgenehmen sekundären Erscheinungen auf die Eiweisskörper zurückzuführen sind.
In dem Bestreben, kolloidale Silberlösungen ohne Eiweiss als Schutzkolloid zu verwenden, hat sich nun im Tierversuch und in der medizinischen Praxis die überraschende Tatsache herausgestellt, dass die Salze der Ölsäure jene Nebenerscheinungen nicht auftreten lassen.
Die Tatsache, dass die Salze der Ölsäure eine derartige günstige Wirkung ausüben, muss umsomehr erstaunen, als von vornherein die Annahme, die Olsäure würde Zytolysen hervorrufen, sehr naheliegend war. Diese Annahme war umso berechtigter, als ja die Ölsäure vom chemischen Standpunkt aus, zu den ungesättigten Säuren zu rechnen ist.
Ausführungsbeispiel :
Zwischen Silberelektroden wird nach der von Bredig gefundenen Methode bei 30 bis 40 Volt und 6'bis 10 Amp. unter Wasser Silber zerstäubt und dadurch eine kolloidale Silberlösung erhalten.
In diese Silberlösung oder besser in das zur Darstellung angewandte Wasser wird ölsaures Natron gelöst.
Wenn 5 g ölsaures Natron in i Liter Wasser gelöst sind, so kann man leicht Lösungen erhalten, die 0-2 bis o'g g kolloidales Silber im Liter gelöst enthalten. Das ölsaure Salz zeigt aber eine derartige Schutzwirkung, dass auch Lösungen von der zehnfachen Silbermenge haltbar sind, ja sogar Kochhitze ertragen,
Die mit ölsauren Salzen versetzte kolloidale Silberlösung erfüllt nun die von ärztlichen Autoritäten gestellte Forderung, kolloidales Silber ohne Eiweiss herzustellen, da dasselbe als artfremdes Eiweiss schädliche Nebenwirkung auf den Organismus ausübt.
Wie an Tieren durchgeführte Injektionen gezeigt haben, treten keine Zytolysen auf, was sehr überraschend ist, umsomehr, da ärztlicherseits der Lösung wegen ihres Gehaltes an Ölsäure, als einer ungesättigten Fettsäure, von vornherein ein schlechtes Horoskop gestellt wurde. Es ist daher ohne Zweifel, dass die vorliegende Kombination in ihrer Wirkung auf den Organismus eine nicht vorauszusehende Erfindung darstellt, die sich in der Praxis bewährt hat.

The solutions of colloidal silver used in therapeutic practice contain protein-like bodies, the addition of which determines the durability of the colloidal state during storage and provides protection against the precipitating influences of the electrolytes of the blood and tissue.
It has now been found in medical practice that the unpleasant secondary phenomena that occur when using colloidal silver solution are due to the protein bodies.
In the endeavor to use colloidal silver solutions without protein as protective colloid, the surprising fact has now emerged in animal experiments and in medical practice that the salts of oleic acid do not allow these side effects to occur.
The fact that the salts of oleic acid have such a beneficial effect must be all the more surprising as the assumption that the oleic acid would cause cytolysis was very obvious from the outset. This assumption was all the more justified since, from the chemical point of view, oleic acid is to be included in the unsaturated acids.
Embodiment:
Using the method found by Bredig at 30 to 40 volts and 6 to 10 amps, silver is atomized under water between silver electrodes and a colloidal silver solution is obtained.
Soda oleic acid is dissolved in this silver solution or, better still, in the water used for representation.
If 5 g of oleic acid soda are dissolved in 1 liter of water, solutions can easily be obtained which contain 0-2 to o'g g of colloidal silver dissolved per liter. As injections carried out on animals have shown, cytolysis does not occur, which is very surprising, all the more because the medical practitioner gave the solution a bad horoscope from the outset because of its content of oleic acid, as an unsaturated fatty acid. There is therefore no doubt that the present combination in its effect on the organism is an unforeseeable invention which has proven itself in practice.
