  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Pflanzenschutzmittels. 



    Im Pflanzenschutz wird zur Bekämpfung von Pflanzenschädlingen Kupfer in seinen verschiedenen Verbindungsformen verwendet. Nach Versuchen obig Genannter hat es sich nun überraschend gezeigt, dass die fungizide Wirkung des Kupfers und dessen Salze gegen Pilze, wie z. B. gegen Peronospora viticola D. By. der Reben usw., durch Kombination mit Zink oder Zinksalzen wesentlich erhöht wird, was einen besonderen technischen Effekt bedeutet und wodurch eben das teuere Kupfer in den verschiedenen Pilzbekämpfungsbrühen durch das billigere Zink zum Teil zu ersetzen ist.

   Es handelt sich hier nicht um eine Summierung der Wirkung zweier Fungizide, da Zinksalze nach den Versuchen obiger in den meisten Fällen überhaupt keine pilztötende Eigenschaft zeigen, vielmehr liegt eine neue Erfindung vor ; die ausgezeichnete Wirkung, welche die der Kupfersalze weit übertrifft, scheint in einer physikalischen Wechselwirkung der Kupfer-Zinksalze begründet zu sein.

   Es wurde auch durch einwandfreie praktische und Laboratoriumsversuche festgestellt, dass schon eine reine wässerige Lösung von Kupfersulfat und Zinksulfat ohne Fällung von Niederschlägen allein befähigt ist, pflanzliche Schädlinge wirksam zu bekämpfen. Nicht die feine Verteilung der   Kupfer-Zinkniederschläge   in der Brühe ist somit das massgebende für die erhöhte Wirksamkeit, sondern die Kombination von Kupfer mit Zink oder von deren Salzen. 



   Das Mittel kann in Form einer Paste oder auch als trockenes, leicht verpackbares Pulver in den Handel gebracht werden. Die Anschlämmung mit Wasser bietet keine Schwierigkeiten.

I. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Pflanzenschutzmittels, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man Zink oder Zinksalze mit Kupfer oder Kupfersalzen zur Bekämpfung von Pflanzenschädlingen kombiniert.
