  Rohrverbindung. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbindung zweier Rohre, vorzugsweise Eisenrohre für Gas- oder Wasserleitungen. Diese Rohrverbindung soll das zeitraubende Gewindeschneiden an den
Rohrenden beseitigen und die üblichen Gewindemuffen ersparen. Die Verbindung der Rohre kann besonders rasch bewirkt werden. 



   In der Zeichnung stellt Fig. i den   Längsschnitt,   Fig. 2 den Querschnitt, Fig. 3 die
Draufsicht der Rohrverbindung dar. 



   In Fig. i ist die aus einem Stück bestehende Bleimuffe a dargestellt, die je zur
Hälfte auf die Rohrenden aufgeschoben wird. Sodann werden die beiden aus gepresstem
Flusseisen bestehenden Schalenhälften bund c angelegt. Die Schalen bund c sind innen mit Ringrippen g versehen, um die Bleimuffe a entsprechend anzupressen. Die Enden   h   der
Schalenhälfe b (Fig. 2) sind verjüngt (abgeschrägt) und werden durch den Zug er
Schraube d der Mutter e und das Eisenband f in die schrägen Enden i der   Schalenhälfte     c   gepresst, wodurch ein Anschmiegen der verjüngten Enden von   h   an die Bleimuffe a erreicht wird. Dadurch wird die Bleimuffe a durchwegs am Umfang gefasst, so dass der Druck am ganzen Umfang wirkt.
