Mixing arm attachment for mechanical fine gravel roasting ovens.
In many known mechanical roasting ovens for fine gravel u. Like. Are the attachment parts of the agitator arms outside on the vertical shaft, are exposed to fire and burn, which brings some evils with it. On the other hand, where in other roasting ovens this objection is avoided and the fastening parts are arranged within the agitator arms, long anchor screws or long keys are needed to screw the arms on, which makes it difficult to replace the arms, but in the best known case requires four screw connections for two opposite arms.
EMI1.1
Partial cooling air pipe arranged, the parts of which are screwed one on top of the other by means of a single screw thread and two short keys and the agitator arms are pulled onto their seats.
In this device, the attachment of two agitator arms is achieved by a single screw connection, which lies in the coolest air flow and is formed directly by the common cooling air pipe, avoiding further fastening parts, which is not possible with the known devices.
The drawing shows in Fig. I this arm attachment in connection with the vertical shaft in longitudinal section, in Fig. 2 in plan view and in cross section.
The hollow stirring arms a, a sit with their conical ends b in the vertical shaft c and their cavity d is connected to the annular space shaft c through holes e.
EMI1.2
inner cavity 1l of the vertical shaft c leads into the agitator arms a, a, from where it withdraws again through the holes e.
The ends i, il of the pipe parts g, gl interlock by means of a thread, and since square edges k are attached to the outer pipe ends, the pipe ends i, il can be screwed into one another from here using a key and the collars Z can be pressed onto the end walls m the agitator arms a, a and thus the fastening

and the collars I lie in the coolant flow so that sticking cannot take place and the arms a, a can easily be replaced.
Two slots n are made in the pipe part gl, through which the coolant can enter the coolant pipe g, gl from the cavity of the vertical shaft c. The agitator arms a, a are closed at the front with a cover o and bolt p, which also holds the outermost agitator prongs q.
