    Fassspund.   



   Fassspunde mit in den Spundkranz   herausschlagbar   eingesetztem Boden sind bekannt. Wird aber ein solcher Fassspund bei Bierfässern verwendet, so kann die unter einem Druck von 2-3 Atmosphären stehende Kohlensäure des Bieres zwischen den Holzfasern des Spundbodens hindurch entweichen, wodurch die Geniessbarkeit des Bieres beeinträchtigt wird. Die Erfindung bezweckt den angeführten Übelstand zu beseitigen und erreicht dies auf einfache sowie verlässliche Weise dadurch, dass die durch die Jahresringe gebildeten Schichten quer zur Spundachse liegen, wodurch ein gasdichter Abschluss gewährleistet wird. 



   In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 den Spund im Schnitt und Fig. 2 in Draufsicht. 



   Der   Spundkranz j !   ist aus Längsholz hergestellt und besitzt die übliche konische Form, wogegen die Kranzbohrung 2 zweckmässig gegen die äussere Öffnung zu sich schwach   verjÜngt.. Der Spundboden 3   ist abgesetzt und dessen Ansatz 4 passt streng in die innere Mündungsöffnung der Bohrung 2. Wie   üblich,   wird der Spundboden 3 beim Anzapfen durch die Pipe herausgestossen, ohne den Kranz zu beschädigen, so dass dieser wiederholt verwendet werden kann. 



   Der Erfindung gemäss liegen die durch die Jahresringe gebildeten Schichten der Holzfasern des aus Querholz gefertigten Spundbodens quer zur Spundachse, so dass ein gasdichter Abschluss erreicht wird.

   Barrel bungs with a base that can be knocked out into the bung rim are known.
