Fig. 7 zeigt eine Grundplatte a, ohne diese Erhöhungen.

Keyhole covers for vehicles of all kinds.

The shapes of the elevations and depressions can be different, e.g. B. also be elongated.
Fig. 7 shows a base plate a without these elevations. Here the feeder la carries the elevations and the spring plate carries the depressions or vice versa. With this design, care must be taken that the spring plate g is firmly connected to the bolt Ca, because this plate has now taken over the fixing of the cover plate against rotation. It is therefore advisable to make the bolt and hole square.
All base plates have a circular minimal elevation k (Fig. 1), (Fig. 4), h, (Fig. 7).
The purpose of this is to facilitate the rotation of the cover plate. Due to the spring action, the cover plate is tightened quite strongly through the intermediary of the pivot pin. If the cover plate were to rest with its entire surface, the friction would be comparatively great and turning would be more difficult. By attaching a raised small area around the pivot point, easy but quick turning under spring pressure is made possible. The height of this increase is so small that on the other hand it practically does not affect the good closing of the key plate.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Rotatable keyhole cover which is resiliently connected to the base plate, characterized in that the cover plate in the closed and open position against self-rotation by in the cover or. The elevations and depressions provided for the base plate are only secured to the extent that they can be opened and closed by hand without any tools.
