   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Hauptabsperr- oder Regulierhebel für Dampfheizungen an Eisenbahnwagen, der so gestaltet ist, dass ohne wesentliche   Änderungen   an der Konstruktion der Haupthebel entweder nur dem   Schaffner     zugänglich   bleibt oder aber innerhalb gewisser Stellungen den Reisenden überlassen ist. 



   Dies geschieht der Erfindung gemäss dadurch, dass der Hebel von einem   Schutzkasten     überdeckt   ist, der mit vorspringenden Nasen oder Leisten versehen ist, die sich dem Hebel in den Weg stellen, so dass er nicht betätigt werden kann, und dass diese Vorsprünge zwischen allen Stellungen oder nur zwischen gewissen Stellungen angebracht werden. 



   Die Zeichnungen zeigen in den Fig. 1-4 und 5-8 zwei beispielsweise Ausführungen des Erfindungsgegenstandes.
