Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Photo graphischer Entwickler.
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 EMI2.1

   3. Für normale Belichtung, rasch arbeitend :
L. 50 ems ; aq 50 cm3 @ I/n Na O H 7 cm3.

   4. Für knappe Belichtung, ranch arbeitend :
L. 50 ems ; aq 50 cm3; I/n Na O H 8 cm3.

   5. Für Vergrösserungen, normal arbeitend :
L. 50 em3 @ aq 50 cm3 ; I/n Na 0 H 10 cm".

   6. Für Vergrösserungen, rasch arbeitend :
L. 50 cm3; aq 50 cm3 ; I/n Na 0 H 12 ern3.

solution has a black to brown color, which is a particularly valued property for slides and gas light recordings. The new developers can be largely adjusted by adding potassium bromide. They do not stain the hands, show all the advantages of the popular pyrogallol developer without its disadvantages and thus rightly deserve the name of universal developer.

   Examples:
A double to triple concentrated stock solution of hydrochloric acid amidosalicylic acid is prepared in the following proportions:
Hydrochloric acid paramidosalicylic acid. ...................... 100 g,
Sulphite, anhydrous ..................... 500 g, five times normal liquor ..................... .. 210 cm3,
Water 4790 em3 and in this way receives 5-1 of an indefinitely stable stock solution (L). For development, this stock solution (L) is diluted with the same to twice the volume of water and as required
 EMI2.1

   3. For normal exposure, working quickly:
L. 50 ems; aq 50 cm3 @ I / n Na O H 7 cm3.

   4. For tight exposure, working ranch:
L. 50 ems; aq 50 cm3; I / n Na O H 8 cm3.

   5. For enlargements, working normally:
L. 50 em3 @ aq 50 cm3; I / n Na 0 H 10 cm ".

   6. For enlargements, working quickly:
L. 50 cm3; aq 50 cm3; I / n Na 0 H 12 ern3.

Depending on requirements, the proportions can be changed even further and adapted to special purposes. With more dilution, you get slower development and brown tones.

Since the lye is exhausted in its effect through gradual neutralization with frequent development, it must be renewed from time to time, whereby the development solution regains its old strength.

     PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Use of the alkali salts of para- and ortho-amido-salicylic acid and of ortho-para-diamidosalicylic acids as photographic developers in a caustic solution.
