Das rückfliessende Kondensat wird nach der Einlassseite der Röhren B geleitet, entweder unmittelbar durch die Leitungen F, F', oder mittelbar durch die Leitung F, Behälter L und Leitung M zu der Pumpe. Ein Druck von ungefähr 7 kg auf den Quadratzentimeter wird auf das O ! während der Behandlungdesselben ausgeübt ; welcher Druck durch die Dampfentwicklung hervorgerufen wird. Dieser Druck wird durch das Ventil E geregelt.

Verfahren zur Umwandlung von schweren Kohlenwasserstoffen in spezifisch leichtere, bei welchem das Rohöl in einer Zone auf Spaltungstemperatur erhitzt wird. um nachher in einer andern Zone verdampft zu werden, und bei welchem die Dämpfe kondensiert und das Kondensat im Rücklauf einer nochmaligen Behandlung unterworfen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rückstände aus der Verdampfungszone entfernt werden, ohne mit dem Rücklaufkondensat in Berührung zu treten.
