Automatic flushing of water for toilets.
The invention relates to flushing water for toilets, which are automatically activated as soon as the seat board or an equivalent organ is relieved. According to the invention, the seat board held lifted from its seat by a spring or the like acts when pressed down on a hook pawl that is brought into engagement by a guide with a hook that is connected to the pulling element that opens the flushing line, so that when Relieve the seat board, the hook pawl first acts on the said pulling element and is then triggered again by the guide.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawing. 1 shows the arrangement in perspective and FIG. 2 is a vertical section through the novel device.
A link 2 protrudes from below into a housing 1, which is under the influence of a compression spring 3, is guided straight in a sleeve 4 and is articulated with a hook 5. The hook 5 can be brought into engagement with a hook 6 which is connected to the pulling element 7, which is used to trigger the water flush. As soon as the toilet cover a, held normally lifted from its seat, presses on the handlebar 2 by depressing it with an arm 8, the handlebar is pressed upwards with the hook 5 and coupled with the hook 6. This position is shown in Fig. 2 of the drawing. The spring 3 was then stretched. After releasing the seat, the tensioned spring 3 comes into effect, so that the hook 5 pulls the hook 6 downwards and thus actuates the water flush.
So that both hooks now decouple themselves automatically, the hook 5 carries a bolt 9 which engages in a guide 10 advantageously formed by a cam groove. This guide 10 is curved towards the end of the path of movement of the hook 5 in such a way that the hook 5 is pivoted out of its path during its downward movement and is thus disengaged from the hook 6.
So that the compression spring 3 does not have to be chosen too strong, the cover a on the arms 8 or elsewhere is expediently provided with a counterweight 12, by which the weight of the cover is balanced and thus the spring 3 can only be operated to trigger the flush Has.
