    Verfahren zur Herstellung von haltbaren, öligen Emulsionen von   Wismutsalzen. 



   In neuerer Zeit haben die Wismutverbindungen in der Therapie eine erhöhte Beachtung erlangt. 



  Für ihre zweckmässige Anwendung sind   Darreichlmgsformen   erforderlich, welche diese Verbindungen gelöst oder in feinster Verteilung enthalten und sich für die intravenöse bzw. parenterale Injektion eignen. Für die subcutan und intramuskuläre Injektion erwiesen sich Emulsionen von unlöslichen Wismutverbindungen als besonders vorteilhaft. 



   Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man haltbare, ölige Emulsionen von   Wismutsalzen durch Auflosung   der Wismutsalze von Fettsäuren in geeigneten organischen Lösungsmitteln, Vermischen dieser Lösungen mit einem Öl und Abdestillieren des organischen Lösungsmittels erhält. Die auf diese Weise gewonnenen Emulsionen zeigen selbst nach längerem Stehen keine Abscheidungen. Sie enthalten die   Wismutverbin-   dungen stets in feinster Verteilung, welche bedingt, dass die Emulsionen leicht injizierbar sind und gut resorbiert werden.

   In recent times the bismuth compounds have received increased attention in therapy.



  For their appropriate use, dosage forms are required which contain these compounds in dissolved form or in extremely fine distribution and are suitable for intravenous or parenteral injection. Emulsions of insoluble bismuth compounds have proven particularly advantageous for subcutaneous and intramuscular injection.



   It has now been found that durable, oily emulsions of bismuth salts are obtained by dissolving the bismuth salts of fatty acids in suitable organic solvents, mixing these solutions with an oil and distilling off the organic solvent. The emulsions obtained in this way show no deposits even after prolonged standing. They always contain the bismuth compounds in the finest distribution, which means that the emulsions are easy to inject and are well absorbed.
