Bei Fussbällen mit äusserer Hülle und innerer Luftblase ist es gebräuchlich, die Luftblase samt dem mit ihr fest verbundenen Ventil durch einen Schlitz in die Hülle so einzubringen, dass das Ventil durch die Schlitiöffnung durchragt. Hiebei wird in der Regel nach dem Aufpumpen der Luftblase die Öffnung von innen durch einen an der Lederhülle angeordneten Lederschutzlappen abgedeckt und von aussen durch Verschnürung geschlossen. Zweck der Erfindung ist es, Ventil und Einstecköffnung mit Schutzlappen örtlich voneinander zu trennen und so anzuordnen und auszugestalten, dass der Schwerpunkt des Balles in seine Mitte verlegt ist.
Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass das Ventil und der Lederlappen einander diametral gegenüber liegen und zum Zwecke des Gewichtsausgleiches vollkommen gleiche. s- Gewicht besitzen.
Durch Ausgestaltung des Schutzlappens und durch Aufbringen einer Auflage auf denselben, die genau in die Durchstecköffnung passt, wird hiebei gleichzeitig ermöglicht, den Verschluss der Einsteck- öffnung ohne Verwendung der sonst gebräuchlichen Verschnürung zu bewerkstelligen.
Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 einen Schnitt durch den Ball, Fig. 2 die Befestigungsvorrichtung für das Ventil und Fig. 3 die Verschlusslederklappe. In Fig. 1 bezeichnet. a die Leerhülse, b die Lederverschlusslappe mit einer Lederauflage, c das Ventil, d die schlaff Gummiblase, e die Ventilbefestigungsvorrichtung, f den Ventilverschlussstöpsel aus Leder.
Fig. 2 stellt die Befestigungsvorrichtung für das Ventil im besonderen vor ; sie besteht aus einer aus Blech gestanzten Platte mit einer quer darüber eingepressten Einkerbung und einem federnden mit einem Einsteckschlitz versehenen Teil g, welcher das Ventil im aufgepumpten Zustande an der Leerhülse festhält. Die Vorrichtung ist wie ersichtlich links und rechts mit zwei kleinen Aluminiumnieten am Leder befestigt. Fig. 3 zeigt den Verschlusslederlappen im besonderen. Auf einem grösseren Lappen y sitzt die Lederauflage i, welche in den Ballausschnitt genau hineinpasst. Der ganze Teil ist wie ersichtlich an einer Seite durch eine Naht an der Leerhülse des Balles befestigt.

1. Sportball mit äusserer Hülle und innerer Luftblase, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ventil zum Aufpumpen der Luftblase und der die Lederhüllé verschliessende Lederlappen einander diametral gegenüberliegen und ihr Gewicht so ausgeglichen ist, dass der Schwerpunkt des Balles in seiner Mitte liegt.
