Tram coupling.
The invention relates to those known truck couplings, the ring-shaped, oval or similarly shaped coupling members of which are cut through at one point and, on the basis of this intersection, are or. can be uncoupled. The major disadvantage of these couplings is that they separate too easily at the point of separation, which results in the carriages being unintentionally uncoupled. The invention is intended to overcome this drawback, u. between the fact that the ends of the coupling member are slightly bent inward at the interface. As a result of this bend, the coupling members slip from the incision, u. especially when tightening, automatically after the full parts, so that the risk of self-decoupling is eliminated.
The invention is shown in the drawing, for example.
The ends a of the coupling member are bent too slightly inward at the incision point.
The dashed lines indicate the course of the inner curve in the known clutches.
While now with the latter, u. particularly when tightening, there is a risk that the second coupling member slips after the interface and thereby detaches from the first coupling member. this risk is avoided in the illustrated design of the coupling because here the second coupling member slips from the endangered point after the full coupling part.
