Abstract

A frame element for connecting a glass ceramic cooking plate with a control member is described. The frame element consists of a profile part enclosing at least partially a front face of the cooking plate and a front face of the control member. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the frame element is designed in such a manner that the angle between the cooking plate and the control member can be adjusted by the user.
