Abstract

The installation for cooling systems, in particular for cooling towers, has a multiplicity of spray plates (1) arranged essentially parallel to one another. The water to be cooled, which is sprayed on from above, runs downwards along these spray plates (1) either on both sides or on one side thereof, the wet sides, whereas the other sides thereof, namely the dry sides, are kept dry. Respectively neighbouring spray plates (1) bound flow ducts through which the cooling air flows.
